My friend, maybe u got reason, of course the DM is the most important player in the team, expecially Bayern that have strikers like Ribery or Toni, but I prefere Tymoschuk to someone else cause I know very well this guy, so Cana maybe a great player so ask u: why doesn't play with a great great team like ManU, Chelsea and other ones?
So yesterday we lost 2 points in a very stupid way, maybe with a great DM we'll be winning ok, but u know football is very strange, look the match of yesterday that Real losed in Valladolid 4 example, 11 vs 11 Real will win the next 100 games! No, they lost 1-0.
A team like Bayern is a great team, and needs players who can make the difference, we got them but not as DM, so I pay u reason for ur msg and remember we've to replave van Bommel, Cana? OK, Tymoschuk too, we need players like them or like your Tourè as ShiftyPowers said, the trouble is there, DM, right and hope FCB will make the right choice in january with Donovan too who replaces Podolski, ciao

If Marseille would be such a great team and win some trophies he wouldn't think of leaving it I guess. He loves Marseille very much but he can't do everything alone there. Marseille is having problems with defenders and in last games Cana is playing as DC but still he can't do all the job alone .

He is playing with a superclub and some months ago no one has known his name.

Just to tell you one fact that last summer Marseille refused an offer of 20 Milion Euros TOO EXPENSIVE, SO NOW THE PRICE COULD BE 30? just because they sold Nasri and they couldn't sell Cana too. Marseille president said to Cana that if you go, I have to go, too, coz fans will hate me.

Pedro it is Ok to not reply to everyone mate. Please try to limit your answers and limit hijacking the thread just for the sake of writing. You can very well include all your thoughts in one single post and not post boost. I don't think this topic really needs that.

Now back to the transfer conversation. If Tymoschuk is 29 years old, i'd rather pass and invest on Cana. We got Van Bommel when we was around the same age and i do not want to get into the same boat, i mean buy a player and worry about finding a substitute 2-3 years after. I'd rather have Cana for the long run.

As far as this Donovan business goes i really think we should pass. We are not that thin in atacing midfielders and i don't really want Landon to rot in the bench at this point of his career.

Van Bommel, Ze Roberto, Borowski, ok, they're decent, but that's just it, they're only decent,

Ze isn't "decent", he's been absolutely brillant for us in both the league and the CL. He's like old wine, he gets better with age. I hope he signs another contract extension, a replacement would be expensive.

Borowski hasn't done **** aside from the goals, totally useless.

Ze alongside Tymoschuk could work imo.

Too old, but I like him too.

He's the best we can attract and he can give us three years. He wouldn't be that expensive either, probably around €14M.

Van Bommel was a smart investment. We got him on the cheap and he gave us two solid seasons. Same with Toni. I personally am sick and tired of those wannabe superstars in their early 20s who are nowhere near good enough for us (not referring to Cana) and complain week in week out about their role. Podolski, Jansen, Sosa, Breno, Kroos etc. - we aren't the right club to develop these youngsters. When you buy an experienced player you know what you get.

I trust Klinsmann on this one. You have to admit he could add another dimension to our game with his pace and dribbling.

Guys, I remember to u that van Bommel is goin' away from München, at least next summer but maybe in january too; then we lost Ottl 4 example, ZE is great but he'll be 35 old next may, Borowski is not a DM, so Hamit. In attack we got only 2 players, Toni+Klose, too few to me, so no Donovan? So take care on Poldi or get soon Mario Gomez, Kroos will weg too, the captain must be Lucio, so maybe he'll stay with us til the end his career, expecially we need absolutely a decent keeper, Neuer or Adler but NOW why don't try Butt?????

I wish there were a Peruvian playing for this team... and to think there are currently three Peruvian starters playing in the Bundasliga.

I wouldn't mind if one of the most promising backs in the bundasliga played for Bayern, Carlos Zambrano.

Not, I wasn't saying he was the ONLY promising player. I merely pointed out that he is ONE of the most promising youngster out there. He was just promoted to the first team this year after showing 1 and a half years of high level play with the U20 Schalke team.

As a matter of fact Carlos Zambrano has started a few games with the senior Peruvian national team after having shown the same quality of game with the Peru U20 team.

I'm not saying he's a phenom, and i'm sure there are tons of other kids out there equaly or better than Carlos, but he is a very promising player nonetheless and is a good candidate for any of the "big" teams in the Bundasliga.

I want Cana. I love how Cana plays. I think he's the perfect choice for our team. He's no nonsense, really tough, doesn't miss games, is young enough (but still has tons of great experience and isn't a young kid. He's actually my age), and he wants to come to Bayern. He is PERFECT.

If Donovan is cheap and willing to sit on Klinsi's bench, I'll take him. I've always wanted to see Donovan back in Europe, and it would be nice to see him at Bayern.... but I'm just worried about his last experience in the Bundesliga. He couldn't leave Leverkusen fast enough, and he was getting more and more time.

What is worrisome is the fact that he left because he got home sick. If a player is not mentally able to stay focussed on his playing and thinks to much of other stuff i think that affects his performance. That is why i don't think having him would benefit us. And than he is coming to play in the only part of our team where we need the lest help: the attacking midfielder role.

Dude, Zambrano is in another team, Schalke04, this is the Bayern thread; we had 2 players from Perù, Claudio "PIZZA" Pizarro and Paolo Guerrero, 2 great strikers that leaved us 2 years ago, shame cause now they'r making great things with Bremen and Hamburg, but in our history there'r so many gifts to other teams that u cannot imagine, 4 example Trochowski gifted to Hamburg like Guerrero, and so guys like Misimovic, Hitzlsperger, and many more, Ballack in 2006 to Chelsea for free, we suck very much on the trasfermarket, 4 example in summer 2007 we got Jansen for 10 millions € and one year later we sold him to Hamburg for 7, and consider that we've only one LB, Lahm, so if our managers suck I hope our players will not be sucking again, but it's very hard this year for Bayern cause we got a hole in DM, so if somebody wishes Cana for me ok so Bybuti will be happy, and a new striker cause I don't think that Toni and Klose can play 3 matches a week.....so, let's go BAYERN anyway!
