Özil will be available on a Bosman in 2011? damn, there will be a lot of competition for his signature from all the big clubs ... actually, there's no way Bremen would let that happen; they'd surely get him to sign a new contract ... I expect him to make a decent splash in South Africa in the summer, in which case there may be some big bids in for this summer ... I don't think you guys would be able to land him for free; not that easily, anyway ...

Özil is great of course but his value is very high, around 20 millions €, we'll see but I think he could play in another championship kind EPL......

Anyone else think we can sign Ozil this summer, or for free next summer? I tell you, Neuer and Ozil in 2011 would be a real coup for the club, and since Ozil could potentially be free we could make another big signing too.

Free? that would be a major steal. Even better when Bayern got Klose for free. But is he germany starting material? because the world cup is around the corner.

Very soon, but luckily there aren't many realistic destinations for him. Madrid and Chelsea probably won't buy him, he's too expensive for Arsenal, Man U are strong on the wing as are Valencia, and most of the other clubs in England and Spain are downgrades from Bayern. I guess he could move to Italy, but Milan is probably too poor to buy him and Juventus aren't really an upgrade.

Robben is playing in the best domestic league in Europe (in terms of the UEFA coefficient) and any team in the Italian Serie A right now (Inter included) is a downgrade from Bayern. I really wish the Bundesliga would get more coverage here.

Um... pretty sure England and Spain have higher UEFA coefficients. We'll probably overtake Italy this year though because we have Hamburg in the UEFA Semis too.

They do in terms of overall coefficient. No doubt about that. But this season, the Bundesliga has the highest league coefficient as they should. The Bundesliga is pretty fun to watch.
