Am I the only one to like Postiga? his only problem is the whinning mentality when he doesn't play..
I read somewhere he didn't work hard in games blabla, well i works 100 times harder than McCarthy, that is clear when they play together if you are in the stadium.
I'd love to see Postiga and Almeida together in the first-eleven.
As for Diogo Valente..bah, isn't good enough imo. And with this we are discarding Duda right?

5-1 vs Academica, finally a fat scoreline 
I think we've been simply brilliant in the first and last 20 minutes, our midfield looked absolutely solid and the wings were very good too....Hugo Almeida could have scored a few, but oh well maybe next time..
Overall I'm really satisfied with our display...
...plus Benfica lost, Barcelona won, I can't be anything but very happy today

Finally Co Ad is playing a decent eleven on a regular basis, this is a much balanced team as i thought long time ago!
Not just me... As many we and many Portistas did!
We had to suffer painful (one of them i cant even name it! shameful!) results to achieve this!!

with that line-up we have a actual defensive mid that only defends, and two midfielders like Deco and Maniche in Ibson and Lucho that can defend well and transport the ball very effectively to the forwards. Then with the magic of Quaresma, the strenght of Almeida and the tenacity and hardworking attitude of Lisandro we are explosive in attack. With players like Diego, Jorginho, Meireles, Ivanildo on the bench we are set midfield up. However, i till don't think our D is great. Bosingwa is not a REAL right back and the same goes with Cesar Peixoto. Pedro Emauel should always start and surprisingly Pepe has played very well, however we all know that won't last to long lol.
In january PdC needs to get busy. With Jorge Costa, Postiga and McCarthy on the way out we need to buy players and quick.
we need a RB, CB, and ST.
The CB choice is clear...ZE CASTRO
now i got no idea who we should sign as a striker and Right Back...as there are none on the market with quality and who are not cup tied.

Leave Marcel in Academica, he's a decent striker but not big team material.

I'd definitely take Castro for the CB spot.
For RB I think Belenenses' Amaral would be a very good choice, and I do like Laranjeiro's game so I wouldn't mind him coming

We need a CB and a RB Badly, otherwise Bosingwa, Sonkaya and Alves will continue playing..
And a striker, with Postiga ready to leave. I don't see Moraes and Sokota as reliable backups.

But the dutch seems to be too much of an apprentice, let's see if he learns fast, otherwise my club will be nothing but a school class for him to make experiences.

i had hear great things about ze castro , but against us , he played badly. but thats ok , he is still a kid.
thats the problem ! we dont need more kids to learn ... we need a CB that already has all the lessons .. we need a CB that is at his prime.
about bosingwa and sonkaya ... bosingwa is better , but has no tactic culture ( does not defend properly the whole game ) Sonkaya may be better , but always defends the whole game. i actually prefer sonkaya to bosingwa

there was also something my father heard on the radio a week ago, about him being Chelsea's property but being loaned to Porto for 2 or 3 seasons......must have been a nonsense rumour too, I guess and hope.

This is only one of the solutions, as Pepe, Lisandro, Almeida, Ibson, Jorginho, Meireles could also be reliable starters..and Lucho, Anderson and Podolski would be able to play other positions too..
Man, what a dreamteam..those 5 in front would make a big mess in any team's defense. But still our backline wouldn't be as strong as 2 years ago with Carvalho and Ferreira.
If Podolski isn't at our reach i'd like us to sign Vaz Tê

my dad said on the radio he heard that Porto are gonna sign Sinama Pongolle from Liverpool. It seems that it i up to Betis as they have the first choice. If they choose Postiga over Sinama we get Sinama. He would be a great addition imo
