worst game of the season by far. CL home game against an average team like APOEL is a must win, and we managed to **** it up :facepalm:
No flow in our football, bad passing, horrible defending, no heart and will whatsoever shown by the players...and I have to admit that VP made another couple of retarded substitutions. Guarín did nothing good all night and still finished the game, while he takes off Fernando (the best - still not good enough - performance in our midfield up until then) and James who wasn't being brilliant but could eventually change the game in our favour through a glimpse of his magic.

Appalling performance, it amazes me how having an improved squad over last season's we are playing this bad :willis:

Falcao's absense is not the main problem. Kleber can't score if the ball doesn't cross his path! the whole team just isn't working well together, scrappy football all-round...it's like we have been moving backwards in quality since the start of the season.

APOEL is doing a great campaign so far, but I am confident we are going to restore normality by beating them in Cyprus next. All I can do is hope :(

it looks awful, but as long as he keeps on scoring absolute beauties like the one in this last match he can even dye his hair pink as far as I'm concerned (H)
