FIFA 06 Online - FIFA 06 RTWC Review

Over at 1UP.com, we can read one of the first FIFA 06 RTWC reviews, which got 7 points out of 10. Expect more stuff in the following days, as the XBOX360 US launch is only a week ahead (Nov. 22nd).

"On the bright side, there's plenty to be impressed with when it comes to the visuals. The players look great close up, and like so many sports games we're seeing on 360, it's a shame that you don't really get the full benefit of what can be done during the game..."

It's nowhere near as good as FIFA 06 (or 05 for that matter) but there's fun to be had...

These statements, from the review, are oxymoronic. That is, if, after you get past the graphics, RTWC 06 is WORSE in terms of gameplay than FIFA 06 or - god forbid - FIFA 2005, there's no WAY that it's going to be any fun...

Why is it so hard to make a football game? Tiburon is taking a crack at Superman; I wish they'd branch out and take a crack at FIFA...

I was slightly tempted to get this if I got a 360 this year but now I am fully content with waiting to see what Konami can do. There's a chance I may see how the full 2006 World Cup game turns out...but....I don't know.
