Can I ask you for a list of fake players in FIFA 07?

Most of faces were taken from FIFA Manager 07 or FIFA Manager 08.

I downloaded FIFA Manager 07 and 08.. and I can extract the minifaces with EA Graphics Editor but I can only extract the minifaces individually, one by one (from FIFA Manager 07 at least). There isn't a method to extract all the FIFA Manager minifaces at once?

If there's a choice, would it be better to use these patches, or try to get player information from FIFA Manager?

I'd prefer FIFA Manager if players there have the same id as in FIFA. I didn't check RPL patch, but players there don't have to have real ids.

By 2006 standards, I'd say they were very decent! Lots of stadiums, faces, etc. But for player ratings FIFA Manager might be more accurate I guess.
The creators of those RPL/UPL patches were definitely a bit biased, I remember a Shakhtar keeper Shust rated somewhere around 85, the highest rated in all of the teams added with the patch

A new tool for database packing/unpacking was developed.
I know about DB Master, but it didn't allow to edit tables and fields properties.
With new tool it will be possible.


Now let's think about new leagues which can be added. Here's the list of leagues which we have in FM 07:

Maybe some of them could be added. Maybe all?

can it convert the tables to fifa 14 db format for example?

can it convert databases from fifa manager 06, 08, 09 and 10 too???

@Dmitri I just finished yesterday removing the background properly to 830 minifaces of players from the original FIFA 07 game and of some classic Icons. I would share them but you probably have them already and the pictures are from FIFA 10 Ultimate Team (or above) so they probably aren't of any use to you. I recently learned how to resize minifaces, logos and minikits automatically in photoshop but if you'd do a tutorial in which you'll show us how you make minifaces for FIFA 07 (from FIFA Manager 07 or 08), we could help you with high-quality minifaces/portraits. The minifaces' format from FIFA Manager 07 is annoying and they don't have the background removed?! I have to change the format and remove the background manually to each miniface before resizing hundreds of minifaces automatically to the right size?!

Idea and target
It's no secret that the PC version of FIFA 07 was graphically terrible. Pixelated faces, torn-eyed pitch, blurry interface textures... EA has mocked PC players over the years, slipping something incomprehensible instead of innovation and progress. The goal of this project is to improve the quality of the game, primarily in graphic terms. To achieve this, resources from other games will be used, as well as new technologies - such as smart increasing of the image quality.

Current progress
Replaced all face and hair textures (more than 8000 files) with enhanced ones (from FIFA 08 and other games).
Badge resolution increased from 100x100 (128x128) to 200x200 (256x256)
More than 6'000 minifaces added (more than a half of total players).
Fixed all known "fake" players.

Help from community
A lot of help is needed with kits. This is the main area where manual work is needed. At the moment, kits are simply upscaled to 1024x1024. So kits are better than original, but not that good. An alternative option is to redraw each kit manually, but it requires a lot of time and people. If there will be enough people, we can consider this option.

At least, generic kits must be replaced (example: Napoli, PAOK, National Teams, and many others). The list with such teams is attached to this message. There are also many kits without sponsor (Barcelona, Sevilla, and many others). This could be improved after all kits will be upscaled.

A help with redrawing and upscaling some interface textures is also needed.

Replace all faces and hairs with better version - this is done by 95%.
Replace all kits with upscaled ones - this is done by 10%
Replace generic kits with real kits
Add missing sponsors on kits
Improve shoe model and textures
Improve ball models and textures
Replace flag and banner textures with better version

Add special kitnumbers for some teams
Update trophy images, add trophy models for 2006/2007
Improve stadium textures

Replace badges, minifaces and minikits with better version - this is done by 70%
Replace background textures with upscaled ones
Fix hair lod type for players with new hair mesh

I love your work... Especially in FIF 07. I find this work fantastic and I am very excited about the completion of the project.

Faces must be 160x160 in png format.

For new pictures, I delete the background with remove-bg service and then adjust the size, position, colors and contrast in PS. I also add some shadow because faces in FIFA Manager used it.
