FIFA 07 Slow Gameplay

OK, here's the story:

AMD 64 2800+, 512 MB RAM, ATI Radeon 9550 256 MB, WD IDE-HDD 40 GB with Win XP SP2
I installed FIFA 07 and started playing at 1024x768x32 at High Detail settings and everything was freat...Cool and smooth gameplay, no flickering graphics, everything was perfect!

I go and buy 512 MB RAM and a WD SATA-HDD 160 GB.
I formatted all my drives and installed Windows XP SP2 on the SATA drive. I install the latest ATI drivers and of course FIFA 07 and...gameplay sucks!
It runs so slow as if I had an old Celeron and 128 MB RAM! This must be lower than 10 fps!!! :nape:
And it's the same graphics card and the double amount of RAM!!! :nape:

I've already tried all this tricks with the cfg_pc_h.ini file and the other files of its kind and nothing changed...And I have the game speed set at "Fast"

Please help! :kader:

Ok i want u to uninstall the game, uninstall all your drivers including sound,display,ethernet

Reinstall yr sound,ethernet and other drivers, with yr original driver cd the came with your motherboard. Use the display driver that was working before u changed to the new one.

Note some times using the lastest display driver screw up yr games, i had a similar problem with fifa 2006 world cup, where i upgraded to a nvidia video drivers and my game was running very slow. I had 2 go back to the one that was working and then wait 4 new driver to be released. Hope my info help let me know.

can send me a link where i can get that cfg_pc_h.ini file becuase i had it b4 and game ran great i reinstalled pC and dont know where to get that file and game runs slower...thanks

OK, lets get this straight too....

When I first installed Win XP SP2 on the new SATA hard disk, I used the old graphics driver, the one I used to have before...the one that made FIFA 07 run perfectly! But the problem of slow gameplay was there, that's why I updated to the newest ATI drivers.

So I believe that the solution of rolling back my graphics drivers wouldn't be of any help!

Any other suggestions are still welcome... :kader:
