Regenerator 12 (2.0.3) should work fine and recognize the game path automatically even if you have both installed fifa11... and that is true for almost everybody...

...but of course, something new can always happens

So... to anyone that experiencing problems and want to be helped:
please don't forget to report your system configuration and the messages that app shows on the screen (and in the log file.).

1.can`t automatically find the fifa 12 path
2.i cant load any career mod save games, (it says it`s corrupt )
3.crashes everytime i start a new career
4.i think, your fifa 11 "choose folder meny style" is better, on some windows themes the fifa 12 menu doesnt appear correctly.

play with win 7 x64

If you don't load career is a DB issue.
Regenerator don't make any changes to your files:
only .bh are rewritten.
Send text shown by pressing LOG button.
and control (by hand) that .bh files are rewritten
in the folder where you have installed your game.

Maybe there is a registry conflict: regenerator get the path
from the hidden key created by the original install procedure
(as CM11 for example...)

You can always activate this procedure,
by pressing the right mouse click...

That's good. Program is developed under this system too.
I use Regenerator every day with your configuration.

Change Your FoLder Name in Your Program Files . Do it Fifa 12 and go on.

I have installed newest .net framework but it still reports error when I try to run regenerator. What might be the problem?

Hi!

I give notice that within a few days, I will release a new version
of the program (2.0.5) that allows to regenerate all the .big files
of the fifa12 game, included minfaces files (2dheadsx.big),
local speech files, dlccards and also the patch.big file released by ea.

I changed again the method of automatic recognition of the installation
path of the game, adding a 'folder by folder' analysis system which
should intervene in the case we get a fail reading registry.

I also added several log records that can help us to recognize the
causes that force the program to crash in some cases.

Important changes have been made to the architecture of the application,
in order to add the functionality that allows the user to regenerate
only one file or a group, so we can experiment minor bugs...
For this reason, you can't still use this new option:
it will become "public" with the 2.1.0 version that will be released
as soon as the basic structure of the program can be considered stable.

Because of the contribution of a friend of fifaonchina,
the Regenerator now also speaks Chinese!
It is not difficult to add a new language.
If anyone is interested... just translates from english the template
attached to the program and sends me the file:
this will be a valuable aid for those not familiar with English!

The problem usually arises when the regenerator founds fifa11 also installed (not always) or when on the PC, you had installed a version of the demo... (and reg patches...)

Normally... ORIGINAL standard installation replace correctly reg demo entries...
