FIFA 13 Arenas

Hi everybody,

As you all know FIFA 13 has many arenas, but you can only play in the new one. In CM13 I tried adding the other new arena that you can only see when playing the skill games (as a stadium). It worked and it looks pretty good. I've a few screens:







As you can see the grass doesn't look right and there are no spectators.
There is a problem with the goalnets too.

Nice start anyway, empty seats seem quite realistic to me because there aren't many spectators when the teams train, right?

However, will it be possible to choose them in the menu?

I don't think so, to make it possible we should edit the FIFA 13 layout. If we could find something to do we'll try to add it as an option I think. Till now we can only import them as a stadium. However there should be an hidden option for unlocking them since they are in the game and the previews of the arena's view one player and a goalkeeper (a Barca player and the other one a Real player, with the 2013 kits). I will post them to show it for the ones who didn't know that.

Arena Oceanic:
Arena England:
On this one you can clearly see the new FCB kit and Tango ball. Left on the wall you can see the EA Sports logo. In FIFA 12 there was a FIFA 12 logo on the wall.

Arena East Europe:
Arena Mediterranean:
Arena South African:
Arena Korea:
On this one you can see FIFA 13 in the adboards on the right.

In early FIFA 13 screenshots there was an other arena. Here are the screens:

Probably these aren't in the game files. Why? Only EA knows. It looks like the ingame arena but a bit modified and in the dark.

Don't forget the default arena. I don't know where it is stored. If someone knows what its ID is we can change the arenas. Maybe we could help each other and create an Arena Changer tool or something like that with the help of the best modders and programmers.

I just cloned it to ID# 0, and changed the type to Official instead of Training. Gave it a name (Oceanic Arena), saved the DB, opened FIFA 13 and played in the stadium. Everthing looks great except the shadows, lightning and the pitch. No spectators for now, but it should be easy to edit them and put them in the right place.

Those other stads worked in FIFA 12 BTW, I used to use them. Don't know why they don't work in FIFA 13.

BTW you can add the other arenas too, but only as a stadium.
In Fifa 12 there was a limit for adding max 10 more stadiums. Maybe the limit is the same, maybe it's bigger. I will try to add more stadiums, till the game crashes because of the stadiums. And I don't know if you need to clone the arenas, maybe you can just edit them to official type and try them ingame. I just cloned it to be sure that there won't be any corrupted files.

There are some differences in the arenas between FIFA 12 and FIFA 13:
Korea FIFA12 and FIFA13:

As you can see all the logos have been edited. In FIFA 12 there were many FIFA 12 logos on the walls and on the buildings. EA have changed them in EA Sports, maybe because they want to use them in future games too.

Good News! FIFA Stadium Limit

Great news for me and others, because I've imported 16+ Stadiums in the game and it hasn't crashed! Last year we could only add 10 more stadiums before the game started crashing. I don't know if this has already been found, I haven't checked the editing and stadium threads for a long time. But the important thing is that EA has moved the limit to another max amount, or (maybe) they have removed the limit.

Just clone it to whatever ID#, and change the type to Official instead of Training. Give it a name (..... Arena), save the DB, open FIFA 13 and play in the stadium. Everthing looks great except the shadows, lightning and the pitch. If you want to import another stadium, just clone any stadium and import the .RX3 files of the stadium you want.

It is easy to add the arenas, you can replace any stadium, which will make the shadows and lightning working well. You could also clone the arena as I mentioned above, but then the shadows and lightning will not work great.
No one knows how to fix that problem. That's why all the stadium makers are telling that it's better to replace a stadium. Of course I will keep looking to see if it can be fixed, but we have been facing this problem since FIFA 12 and no one found a possible fix.

After you have imported the stadiums, using CM13 you can go to the teams tab and choose the arena model as the home ground of your team.

BTW, do you need any help at importing the arenas ingame.

Firstly you need CM13, download it if you haven't done:

Before you continue, it's always better to backup your current db in case something happens.

Open CM13 and go to the stadiums tab.

On the stadium tab search for the stadiums called FE Arena (Name).

Clone all the arenas.
Start with FE Arena Brazil.

Now the stadium ID selector should Popup:

Click on OK to continue. Now the arena should be cloned:

As you can see mine got the ID 47, but it does not matter which ID you'll get.

Now you should give it a Name and change the type from Training to Official!:

Repeat this step for every arena. Now you should be done, I have all the stadium previews here, if you want the ingame previews too.

As I have mentioned before when you import it as a new stadium the lightning, shadows and pitch will not look good, I also have a problem with the goalnets, but it's better to add the arenas then to replace other stadiums with the arenas, since everybody likes to keep all the stadiums. The problems aren't very big, you can live with it.
