If you don't like the ball movement, create your own product file. Use the ball movement values modders like Fidel, regularcat and Andreapirlo use in their files. Or just use one of their product files: put it in the game and regenerate. The point is, try something. Because complaining about things doesn't fix the issue. I see in another thread you call the game crap. Well instead of wasting your time writing pointless comments like that, get busy and get modding.

you're apsolutely right, i was expecting this kind of reply, i'll try one of these product.ini's...it's just my recent frustration with the purchase of the game, it'll wear off :D :D

yeah sure, sliders, db,fixing, no complaining....but what about online?

Fut, proclubs, h2h, everything is broken with superfast gameplay and speed.

this year EA has done a great big mess.

And what about sound? have you heard ball sound disappear sometimes,on headers and in some air balls passing, even using the sliders in the options there's never a good balance between ball sounds and the rest of the audio part of the game, because this year sound ball it's very low.
and player calls? tried playing with everything at 0 and player calls at 10, heard the players calling the ball 1 times per match.

and the Wooow (the momentum when a shot goes out or miss for a little the goal) of the public, completely ruined in this 13, it was perfect for timing and all in 11 and 12,it's partially broken in 13,sometimes its good sometimes sounds weird imho.

players are too much agile, they turns like speedy gonzales, and they are too much lightweighted.

first touch has given something new to gameplay, but it's waaay too distant to perfection, frequently gives a pinball sensation to the whole gameplay, with broken animations or penetrations.

fifa 13 it's not a bad game, but it's not what we want, its' not an '12 evolution.
13 wins over 12 only in illumination terms (much more better this year, specially in games played at 3pm/5pm)

i agree, game is fast even when it turn to slow lol

but playing against the computer in legendary tho. against someone else, with no ultra human skills, its alright

'Screw the sliders'? Screw the best addition EA have added to the game? Without them, I never would've found the perfect speed and difficulty level. You're entitled to your opinion, I appreciate that, but I 100% disagree. Fifa 13 is the best Fifa ever - offline. Online from what I've heard sounds a bit screwed.

I think colours/contrast looks nicer in demo and the gameplay/build up play & passing is slower. Final game is more like FIFA 12, the demo was a different game for me

It looks like you played on two different speed settings. The demo clip actually looks like it's recorded in slo-mo, or that the video speed was altered and slowed down post-capture. I don't remember it being that slow, TBH.

EDIT: Just fired up the FIFA 13 demo (I'm still playing FIFA 12). Yeah, the gameplay on the slow setting is as slow as it looks in your vid, and it's definitely slower than FIFA 12. Good video.

EDIT: Just fired up the FIFA 13 demo (I'm still playing FIFA 12). Yeah, the gameplay on the slow setting is as slow as it looks in your vid, and it's definitely slower than FIFA 12. Good video.

I know that's what I thought, the settings are identical though. :confused:

I haven't found any slider combination or game setting which gets the game close to the demo in that regard. Another thing is the contrast and colour tone, it's dark and richer in the demo, you can notice it if you look at the pitch colour, it's darker and more green in the demo, in the final release they added some kind of additional lighting or contrast to the game which makes it look too luminous. I can't find any enb settings which makes the game look more like the demo. 8|

This comparison doesn't even show the cpu play which is too fast, they play like it's the last minute of the game all the time but in the demo it was far more balanced, they only went into crazy mode in last 10 minutes if they were losing.

I would guess that's because the product file codes that activate those CPU "crazy mode" boosts (which you can edit in the product file and shut off BTW) weren't in the demo. I looked in the demo files, and those settings weren't there. The demo looks like it was programmed with one intensity setting that never changed, no doubt due to the short 3 minute halfs.

any idea what the values were? there are so many to choose from and nothing sticks out as obvious, changing build up speed etc. doesn't seem to do anything because they still attack at all costs

The issue seems more to do with finding a way of creating a speed setting similar to the FIFA 13 demo. Because the FIFA 13 demo on the slow setting literally looks and feels like it's moving in slow motion. Here's a thread about slowing the game down in the way you seem to want:

Um the database is a database how can it include a .txt? If you mean the matchintensity table which has some values that decide how the CPU teams react to certain scores at different times then I did notice that, but the values seem to be the same in the demo and final database so it cannot account for the huge difference.

Teams' intensity can also be controlled via product values such as morale and mentality. Could be intensity values in the demo were pre-determined and locked. Matches were only 6 minutes long, so programming the demo so that match intensity changes were disabled would make sense.

I still to the day enjoy playing FIFA 11 over any other FIFA game. I just personally think it was the best game to play.

FIFA 13 is pretty good though.

i made some tweak and gameplay is become slower and realistic

set Game speed : slow
sprint : 40
acceleration :50
shot/pass speed :40
+ doctor+ patch for realistic speed.

say no to arcadish style
