FIFA 13 League & Structure Info

I had a feeling the schedule was a problem. I will study this text and see if I can modify the existing schedule or model it after a league with same amount of teams (MLS is quite unique tho). I'm still not entirely sure how to do it! But I recognize you can't walk me through it either! Trial and error I suppose.

I thought that the FillwithTeam command is how I added teams to the league. So maybe thats not needed. After looking at it I think that may be the US Open Cup, not MLS. The teams are in the league in the DB (can select them for career mode), but when I start a career mode, the new teams dont have a schedule or show up in the standings. Though, after editing the standings I did have the right amount of teams in each group, but the new ones were TBD. So I need to get these into the league competition. I'm not sure if this is done in a text file or database file.


I really appreciate the help. I am noob at this whole modding of FIFA. I'm not trying to get too carried away. Just wanted to add a few teams to a league and have some fun. Much to learn though!

EDIT:

MLS has a specific schedule file, which suddenly makes way more sense! I see now how to create the schedule. Its just a matter of getting the new teams to show up, instead of it showing those slots as TBD. Any insight into that would be awesome.

that unique schedule file is only for the very first season of career mode, after that it is useless.

you don't need fillwithteam to simply add to a league, the tasks should be fine alone, fillfromleague should be enough, fillwithteam is more for cups.

1406,105,4,2,3,1900

this line above for example is from the schedule text, below is a breakdown of the line.

1406 - compobj reference
105 - day
4 - week of the season
2 - minimum matches played that day
3 - maximum matches played that day
1900 - time of day

minimum and maximum must meet the amount of teams in the league, 20 clubs, 10 matches if the schedule calls for one day in that week.

if it is multiple days then they have to meet 10 matches and no more spread amongst the amount of days matches are played in that week.

if i were you i would only mess with the league data and leave the cup data alone and use the mls cup format.

The schedule now makes complete sense. One question for you if you can answer it. I added slots in the standings text for 12 teams in each group of MLS (West and East). I have 5 new created teams in the league, but 4 of the new slots just show as TBD. Do you know why that is? How do I get these new teams to populate into the league and standings?

Have anybody found a way to make this seasons Ekstraklasa league system?

In the real world it looks like this:
-30 games of regular season
-after that the table is split on half +match points are also split on half
-in each of the groups (championship and relegation) each team plays 7 extra matches
-first team in group A plays in UCL, places 2.-3. in EL
-last 2 places in B group - relegation

I don't think you can... Unlike Fifa 11 where there was an option to determine if a League or Tournament would be visible or not in career mode, since Fifa 12, there's nothing that specifies in which mode tournaments are available.

If such a value does exist, it's probably hardcoded into the game's exe file. Why would you want to hide a League in career mode? unless this is a competition with National Teams involved, there's not much point, because the line limit for the compdata remains the same. So even if you could hide some competitions that wouldn't free up space for more stuff, if that's the goal

I am making a fantasy, no-human league and I want a part of it not appear in career mode!!! This is why I need to find this...

Does anyone know how to change ranking of leagues? I would like to improve Irish league to English level (and worsen English to Irish). I looked up and changed in internationals.txt, but it doesn't work.
I mean that when I play Irish league, I would like to get job offers from the best leagues like Spain, Germany, etc. But improving Irish league in internationals.txt doesn't work and I still get offers from Belgium, etc...
Can anyone help me?

if limit is for sure 1710 is a starting point to search if there is a limitation in fifa.exe o engfotball***.dll in dlc folder.
Can you provide me a dlc folder with compobj id < 1710 taht work in career mode and a dlc folder with compobj id > 1710 (maybe the same as before, but with a tournament added, so i can do some tests).
Or you can do by yourself with an hex editor... 1710 in hex is 06AE, search it in fifa.exe and edit that value up to 1800 (0708hex) and try in game, if the new competition is read then you have unlocked compobj limit (or i hope)
