@Galata

copy the "pitch" folder to:

C:\Program Files\Origin Games\FIFA 13\Game\data\sceneassets

than regenerate with fm12, FHL-BH-Editor or iard's regenerator.
this will do the trick.
I added a couple of screenshots in the first post.

guys you will never be able to do any change to pitch colour by editing texture file, believe it or not.

you can only affect the brightness/darkness of the pitch by editing pitchcolor and pitchmowpattern textures. I reckon it might be quite complicated to change the colour itself, as the stadium lighting has a huge effect on the colour.

this patch will darken the bright green colour. screenshots in the first post.

is it possible to use that arena turf in game? it looks higher def to me, maybe just cos camera is close?

Added the turf patch but i cannot see the ball now.
I removed the patch then regenerated but only get green and black checks instead of grass any ideas. cheers.

The arena turf definitely looks like a higher def turf, but it's actually one of the pitch patterns available (mowpattern0 or 1). I guess it looks better because there are no stadium, lighting, crowd and 20 more players to render in a full match. That's just my guess anyway.

This patch doesn't affect ball textures or any other textures apart from the turf. Verify that you have these inside the pitch folder :

The only thing I'd say about EA's defaults is I'd like the floodlit matches to look a bit more vivid. Compared to a sunny day, they look a bit dull, and if anything floodlit matches look more vivid in real life, not less. ;)

I tried different turfes so far, but non could satisfy.
regs has way to much structure and the colours were not what I imagined. Last year I used elticos which was fine, but this one doesn't satisfy at all.

i don't think day games need modification (even thinking your textures are amazing too), i like the superbright this year. Very vivid and realistic to me...

But night games are horrible than never, the green is very ugly... So whitout live, whitout "color"...

Is there a way to modify only the pitch of night games??

the default day matches look better than ever, that is true. but night matches are horrific. I prefer night matches though, that is the reason I tried to modify that neon green turf brightness and lower it a little bit. unfortunately, this modification also affects day matches as well. I'll release a 2.0 version of this patch with new mow patterns and wear patterns included in the same files.

Nice, matteoz! I'm waiting for the 2.0 version so. But i will give I try in 1.0, because your textures are very good in day matches too, but even better at night games...
