FIFA 14 3D Importer/Exporter

Hi master, I have this problem when exporting:



I use FaceGen, I use the modelset of Sepak.
I exported in object mode in other folder (not the original), with the original files of the head in the new folder. What is the problem?

First of all you not only need to just add the two vertex color layers. You also need to recalculate them based on your new geometry. Use the vertex color panel that i've made.

btw your problem looks more like a geometry problem, and i have no idea why :S:S Retry and post your results here.

You have not selected the base file in the importer. you should always have the source file selected in there ;)

sorry if its been asked already, but can i import kits with this? I tried importing a kit's RX3 file but it didnt work

Does anyone know how to extract all Rx3 files, or convert the extracted png files from CM14?
I can not find anywhere the Rx3 Master. And what I found, not open.

To extract Rx3 files you can use filemaster... Just open the data_big file where the rx3 files you want are located then select the files and export and the program will export them (and decompress them automatically)

it would be nice to have conversion between different games 3d-models

as the game fifa online 3 uses the fifa 11 engine (& rx3 format),
but got same faces as fifa 14
(think kind of same models as fifa 14: it got same face & hair-textures,...)

fifa online 3 got faces wich fifa 14 don't have,
like januzaj, isco, ...

& would be nice the other way if the still popular fifa 11 could use fifa 14 models

Can someone please help? I'm still getting the same exporting error. I've tried renaming the head to remove underscore, I've tried export to same/different location of head, I've made sure the path name contains 'C:/'. I've tried re installing Blender and the script but with no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated

Does anyone know if it is possible to "separate" (maybe by unwrapping) parts of the meshes in boot models for the studs so they could have more color options like some older F50's do?

Has anyone managed to add 3d league logos like the ones in data_7.big for the wipes?

I created a 3d logo using the Argentine Federation crest and didn't get any error from the script but when I import the file it generated I either get no result or I get the standard logo I imported with the script before trying to overwrite...

i have an error while importing and model when i import any model without adding it's texture it works fine but when i add the texture and in the correct place it says that there's an error in line 120

Guys,

I've been trying to make different kit parts (shorts models actually) using the 3d importer and I've asked scouser if it would be possible to use lua code to load different kit models, in order to reproduce a more "lifelike" type of classic kits (shorter shorts, etc) and getting the proper size is pretty simple but I've hit a bit of a roadblock: I've been trying to add those small inverted V cuts on the side panels of the short but in my tests I've been having trouble because the exported model gets somehow corrupted as I can't reimport it using the script. I've even tested simply spliting the needed vertices so the model wouldn't have problems due to vertex removal or different polygon count but I'm kinda stuck. Any thoughts? Would any of the more experienced 3d artists throughout the forum be interested in this type of project?
Any insight or suggestions would be highly appreciated. :)

First of all hi to everyone, i've finally finished will all my studies for now, and now i can finally concentrate on the next version of the script. I've already finished (98%) the documentation containing all the necessary information for the 0.63 version and i am planning to upload it separately within the next days.

As for the new features, i am going to work mostly on some fixes and some proper error reports so that i'll be able to help you more quickly. I am planning to make a known error list with all the errors you may possibly face with information on how to face them ;)

No. Thats because in order to edit boots, you should use the overwriter for now. As soon as i manage to get full export support for the boots, that will be possible ;)

You CAN'T immediately export an imported stadium. You have to rearrange all the objects in their appropriate groups and then export.

There is an issue with the wipes, i'll work on it :)

Its probably a problem with the file path. Try moving it to a path that contains only unicode characters.

You have probably changed the vertex count without noticing it. You need to repeat the process, or ask a 3d modeler to do that for you. What you are trying to do can be done with the script ;)
