[Fifa 14] - Create and Add Managers Face

Hi everyone! I'm coming to you because I'm planning to make ALL the manager faces in Fifa 14 (at least for League 1, League 2, Serie A, Bundesliga etc).

I understand that the managers' faces are in 2D and not in 3D like the players. I know how to do it with FaceGen Modeller 3.1 but I'm not sure for this specific case.

Could someone explain me how to create and add new faces for the managers? Thank you!

PS: I'm talking about creating specificmanager_XXXX_0_0.rx3 and specificmanager_XXXX_0.0_texture

¡Hola a todos! Vengo a ustedes porque planeo hacer TODAS las caras del entrenador en Fifa 14 (al menos para la Liga 1, Liga 2, Serie A, Bundesliga, etc.).

Entiendo que las caras de los entrenadores están en 2D y no en 3D como los jugadores. Sé cómo hacerlo con FaceGen Modeller 3.1 pero no estoy seguro para este caso específico.

I am making progress (beginning to understand)... I have installed Blender 2.7 and the Import/Export rx3 module.

But I'm struggling without tutorials. The will is there and even if we don't see much of the managers in play, it was more of a challenge.

Thanks to Damien from Fifa Infinity for the documentation on the Revolution Mod 14.

Hey man, great idea. I think @Re_coded can be of big help to you at least in terms of textures and source material.

Check out these were created by @afwan @afwan11 and are probably the best we have out there, actual 3D models (why do you say 2D)?

As a matter of fact we could really use some great unmade manager faces like Simeone, Pochettino or updates for managers like Klopp, Mourinho, Ancelotti (all 5 have great F21 textures to work with) + legends like Hiddink, Rijkaard and Sir Alex Ferguson.

I'm not experienced in 3D editing but I also wonder if we can take Vieira or Berezutskiy player head models and scale them down to manager size? (Crystal Palace and CSKA now)

Because I was talking about that with Harry BullZak and he said this :

I thought I could create manager face with GenFace Modeller 3.1 but BullZak said : "no, you can't". Thanks for you advices, I will contact Re_coded !

They're not flat faced. You just import the model in blender and modify it like a regular face. The only difference is that they are extremely low-poly

Can we then theoretically take a player's head (like Sergey Semak), resize it and turn it into a Zenit SpB manager face?

Not sure what Harry meant by 2D but they do indeed seem to be low-poly 3D?

I've made a couple of managers faces myself, so I verify they're not 2D. But no, you can't use a player's head and put it on the body of the manager, unfortunately.

Yeah, I think Harry was right but my interpretation was wrong. @pao4ever Could you give me a quick tutorial for the process ? I tried with Blender / Fifa 14 plugin but it's very hard to to guess what I don't know.

First of all. I can create a texture face / morphing with FaceGen, right and import this in Blender or not ?

If I had an example of all the steps, I could easily reproduce it later. But the "tutorials" on Youtube are not really relevant.

I also noticed that some manager textures given with FIP14 are not displayed correctly in game.

I think you're using a wrong combination of model/texture.
Once again I can't help but mention @Re_coded since he definitely knows this stuff but from what I know you need to use the right texture with the right model layout, and there are at least 3 models out there:
