Im having the same difficulty. This is full version as well, not demo. Exception error when trying to load the DB (XML and db file) in DBM12.

You need to decompress the DB using FIFA File Explorer.
To do that just go to the menu Tools and after Decompress (chunkzip)

Its not about decompressing, i have already taken out the fifa_ng_db file but not able to open it into db master.

the error is as follow

unhandled exception has occurred in your application if you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click quit the application will close immediately.

if i click continue it tries to open the file but never able to do so and stay on the loading databse screen in db master. Can you understand why it is happening? it doesnt happen if i try to open fifa 13 db file. thanks

You have to decompress the file (chunkzip) via File Explorer. Then, what I do, is copy the two original files in game/data/db and paste them to a backup folder. Then I go back to the remaining files in game/data/db that are named ".unpacked" and rename it to reflect the ".unpacked" erased - so it just remains with the proper extension of .xml or .db .

Once those are renamed, you can then load them successfully into DBM. Make your changes, and save. You will not need to import them either as it will read from the folder. Remember any changes you've made will ONLY reflect in CM and Edit/Create Player option on menu screen. Kick-Off/Exhibition, etc - get squads automatically downloaded for some reason, thus removing any DB edits.

Hi Sepakbola
my exported db files are not being read by FIFA 14 as any changes I made ie name and number colour are not being picked up even though they are in the correct place game/data/db folder
Is there anything else I have to do?

Any help would be very much appreciated

This DB is incomplete because hasnt all summer transfers, liga argentina, postobon liga... The new leagues...

Two things that might be the issue: You need to regenerate the game when you first add the db folder/files; and you need to delete all previous squad saves in your Documents/FIFA 14 folder.

Hello, and what should i do, if i have Fifa14 Demo with full db from Fidel's mod? I'm trying to edit it in DBM14 tool, but the game don't read any changes (but doesn't show any errors also)? I didn't tried to make any transfers so far, but i'm trying to simply edit my settings like favourite team, game level etc. All i could obtain, actually is change in game level. Favourite team hasn't change, even since it's modified in the same place in db file.

I'm using the demo with Fidel's amazing super patch as well. Edits work fine, you just need to check a few things. First, not all values in the settings file work. I edited favorite team and it didn't work for me either. Second, you need to regenerate your game the first time you add a db file or the game won't read your changes. Third, you need to make sure your db is in the proper spot as the fifa14mod file changes things around. There are 2 places where a db file is located; place your edited db in both locations for good measure. If you still can't get it going, PM me and I'll help.

where can i find the original database file of fifa 14?

Hi all,
i have a cracked copy of fifa 14, and i downloaded Modding Way patch to update the database of the game to contain the new rosters and kits of 2015, but i dont know what's went wrong, i run the patch successfully but the game never changes, i tried to replace the database manually but i didn't find any files in my fifa 14 copy with .db extension, so what can i do with it? please can anybody help?
