im facing black hair problem...when i put lua file(make player_playerid.lua and inputs the statement in it like this"assignPlayerFace(player id) game crashes when i check the player in edit player ingame...need help.m doing something wrong.

Hey guys. I've followed every single step in this tutorial and I actually managed to import faces in game, but upon entering my second game in the career mode it just ctd'ed and once I tried to enter my FIFA profile again I was informed that "Squads 1" was damaged and therefore unnusable . I did 2 retries but I never actually managed to have faces in game again. Not only that, but Revolution mod seems to be somewhat colliding with some of Moddingway's mod features ( I can't get the Themes from MWM selector to work after I install Revolution mod for example).

I really need help because I'm in no way new to this kind of stuff (I used to make armor and weapon packs for skyrim, and I also mod The Dead Linger) but this got me confused. I think I'm doing everything right, since it kinda worked the first time, but it hasn't actually worked ever since.

For the squads message, the game probably loaded a game save created under a different db file (in the MW mod most likely) or you've accidentaly edited something on the db after the last save from the game.

And regarding Rev mod, I believe the MW mod uses some parts of lua code which are specific to it (probably for the selector, that's the first thing that comes to mind) so a portion of Revmod's code might mess up with the MW lua files

Check your db folder and look for the file fifa_ng_db.db.bak, delete your fifa_ng_db.db file(the one that got corrupted) then remove the .bak part from the other file and you should have your db back to where it was before cm messed it up

I tried to import and export a facegen face. After I renamed the UVmap in base at both models (face and eyes) I tried to export the face. In that moment this error apears. I don't know how to make it bigger, that's exactly what appears on my screen:

After that I added two lines in Vertex Colors and renamed those lines in col0 and col1 like I saw in head_000000_0.rx3:

Now I was able to export the file, import it again and everything works well, the face appears intact in blender and Creation Master:


but this is the result in game:


Hope you can tell me what I did wrong or help me somehow...

Use orthographic view, it's better for profile work

Updated to windows 8.1 yersterday I did backed up my faces and blender setup file. the lights are all in the right place.
Anyway the head is importing so far away and its huge. Any Idea what to do?
I removed my setup file just to show you what I mean, It's not the stup file that's the problem...
