FIFA 14 to Cyber Face Converter - Head Converter

FIFA 14 TO CFC HEAD CONVERTER

This tool converts FIFA 14 heads to a format compatible with Cyber Faces Converter by jor1980.

Steps

1) Any head that you are going to convert must be decompressed.
Check out Below -> Decompress file

2) Open decompressed head with FIFA 14TOCFC Converter ( 14TOCFC )
  • Click on 14 -> CFC
  • In the folder where you have the head file now you will have 2 files.
  • For instance if the head converted was head_50542_0.rx3 :
  • head_50542_0.rx3
  • head_CFC_50542_0.rx3 <--- This one is the converted to CFC
THIS FILE MUST STAY IN THE SAME FOLDER THAN THE ORIGINAL HEAD

3) Now you Open FIFA CFC by Jor1980

  • Click on RX3 to CFC and browse for the file created for CFC.
  • For instance : head_CFC_50542_0.rx3
  • This will create the .cfc file you need to import to blender

4) Well now you import the .cfc file to blender as you know and make the changes. Then export from blender to .cfc

5) Once you are ready you go back to CFC by jor1980
  • Click on CFC to RX3 and browse for the .cfc file
  • Then you will have to browse for the rx3 file but again you have to point to the one created for CFC
  • For instance : head_CFC_50542_0.rx3

REMEMBER THIS FILE MUST STAY IN THE SAME FOLDER THAN THE ORIGINAL HEAD

6) Return to FIFA 14TOCFC Converter ( 14TOCFC )
Click on 14 <- CFC and the head will be inmported to FIFA 14 file.​

READY!

The file you have to use is the original one.
For instance : head_50542_0.rx3


Decompress File
If the head is not decompressed you need FIFA 14 File Explorer by Jenke.

  • Goto Tools --> Decompress ( chunkzip )
  • Browse for the file and open it. It will create a same file with the extension unpacked.
  • So if you have decompressed file you will have :
    [*]head_50542_0.rx3
    [*]head_50542_0.rx3.unpacked​
  • Remove head_50542_0.rx3
  • Rename head_50542_0.rx3.unpacked to head_50542_0.rx3

the CFC doesn't work it currupts my cff file, this worked fine for me last year for fifa13 but not for this year it does this to my faces when i import my custom headshape cff into the head_CFC_xxxx.rx3. i did create a thread with an in depth explanation of what's happening but people keep deleting my support threads even though the support forum is closed so i dunno where the f*** they expect people to get support from...

if i upload my files (the completed cff and textures of the face i'm trying to get into the game), could some one please see if they can get it into they're game. I just don't know why it doesn't work for me i've followed the instructions EXACTLY and it plain and simply just doesn't work. i'm wondering if it's just me, maybe my computer or something.

If some one could do this for me it'll help a lot, it would let me know if it's just me which would mean something is wrong on my end. the face i'm working on is rafael for manchester united.

What .cff are you using man?? are you using the .cff from the Extras folder? You NEED to use that one. This is made with facegen, right?

yeah i'm using the CFF from the extras folder, and yeah it's made with facegen. I've followed all the instructions EXACTLY. I've done it over and over again so I'm 100% sure i'm doing it right. it just doesn't work it either screws up the face in game with polys everywhere, or it reverts the headshape back to the original generic one. It's all goes wrong when i use the fifa 12 CFC, to import my cff to rx3. Thats the step that messes it up, everything else seems to work fine. It's at that step that the CFF file either becomes messed up and 'spiky' or it throws up a vertex missing error message or something like that.

Gimme the facegen .obj files, my guess is that you did something wrong in the convertion.

i've been doing some more tests trying to figure this problem out, while i wait for Sepak to test my files here's what I've done.

1. created a fresh photo fit face using facegen 3.1 and export the obj
2. Import the obj into 3dsmax, import the Head.cff from the extra files folder, and morph the cff file.
3. export my new cff as a new file name
4. load up fifa12 CFC and import my new cff into head_CFC_xxx.rx3
5. now to test that everything has gone fine (before i waste time importing into the game just to get my texture slapped onto a generic headshape), i then straight away export the CFF file that i just imported, save it as test.cff and attempt to import it into 3ds max.
6. the file can't be imported into 3ds max i get the error message '-- Runtime error: Vertex index in face out of range [1,8708,257]' so basically during the import into the rx3 file something is going wrong.

edit:
even if i import the unchanged head.cff provided with sepak's extra files i still get that error message
