Is there anyway to the start Career in 2015/2016 season?

I started my career in 2015 just by modifying those lines in cmsetting.ini file :

[DEFAULTS]
CALSTART_DAY = 1
CALSTART_MONTH = 1
CALSTART_YEAR = 2015

sorry for asking, but where can I find the cmsetting.ini file? In FIFA 14 it used to be somewhere in the dlc folder, but I can't find it anywhere, neither by using the search function. Would be much appreciated if someone could help me or just upload the file!

Any updates on the above?

I tested using the transferteamdecision.ini from version 7.0 with my saved game from v5.0 RC3 but still see the same problem. The players aren't yet good enough to play in my first team so I want to sell/loan them out in the meantime.

Known issue, this is also in the original version. Tried to improve this, but for some reason the loan request are a bit blocked.
You can tweak the change of a loan request (lowering the change of buy), however this (may) result in 'big' club offers for the low-rated (to be loaned) (potential) player.

Will take a look at this, think the same method as FIFA 14 can be used.

Everything is moved to transferteamdecision.ini, all values (including cmsettings.ini) can be found in that file.
Please read the threat, I have posted the reason why.

I've got the same problem :-/. I usually score screamers from distance, even though I use Shot Error - 100 in sliders. What is more I play Bournemouth in Career Mode and it is no problem to score from distance with a player, who is 60 overall (long shots 68).
Any ideas how to solve it?

Hi Beta,

In your latest patch I keep getting refused transfers due to players having moved to the team recently, when they in fact haven't?? Two examples are Fellani, Cabaye,Alan Dzagoev, anthony martial. They're others as well that I can't remember at the moment, not sure what could be causing this?? It's happened in all my careers, always those three players. To ad, after telling me they've recently moved, they will then accept an offer from another club lol.

Also, had a look at the expiring contract issue yet?

Confirmed, should be better in V8.0.
Note: For some players it may be necessary to edit the database with DB Master 15.

Hi beta990, can you fix 1 problem.
When i make offer for someone, sometimes his team says that they can't accept this offer because player is arrived recently but he is in this team from 2010,2011 and so on.
And can you make teams to renew player's contracts because in every career I sign Bale and other stars for free and I think it isn't real ?
I forgot to add, will be perfect if can make teams to accept lower offers for players whosе contracts expires after 6 months.

I used v7 and started a new career but it crashed at loading new season window !! Any fix for that?? i tried using different clubs same result..it fifa15 crashes..Please help!!!

any chance how to fix it?

Normally it's because your cloud save space is full. You can disable cloud saves if you don't need them or you can clean some unused saves/team settings ect...You have to be ingame to do this (because the folders where you can found those files is not really human understandable), go in the profile section > Delete.

Hi all!

Today I released V8.0 of my Career Mode patch!
It's a big update and it is recommended to upgrade.

Like the usual bug fixing, I'd also updated the squads (09-05-2015) and moved out-of-contract players (<2015) to free-agents.
Other new features included career mode start in 2015, improved scouting/transfer-system, camera zoom patch, better Team-mangement and gameplay (patch) improvements.

No issues here, what install method (Installer/manual) did you use? And are there any other mods installed/used?

manuel install, latest database and player attributes checked only..

regenerated after installation..


clean install of Fifa 15, only your latest 7.0 data and regcat's v2.0 gameplay installed..


cheatengine open to adjust height and zoom, not injected

started career mode, selected european competition at first year, with realistic teams..

no other modification had been made.. squads selected both with "unable to download latest" and "current customised" ... both crashed at initial load screen..

i'm also having a crash the cause of the crash is the database of 8.0 i installed the files without the db didn't have a crash but after i put the it crashed again

I'm also having crashes when i start career mode but in my case my career crashes only when i select a french or Italian league others like spanish english and germans leagues are working. I haven't tried other leagues though, i remember this also happened in the 7.0 patch nay fix beta ?

one more thing how did you managed to start career mode in 2015 and if i want to roll back and start in 2014..what do i have to do ?

Not all players are visible in the new database. For example Flanagan (Liverpool) is not there.
