Thanks for the tip on rescaling the crowd. I suspected that was the issue.

I've now run into a new problem. This happens when I try to replace vertex groups on a stadium. I remove the existing ones, replace them with my own, but then get this error when I hit export...

I discovered that, even after this error, Blender does actually export a crowd file. But, it's basically empty. When I test the stadium in game, the crowd and seats aren't there.

I think I must be doing something wrong when I'm adding new vertex groups...

Do you also added the crowd groups like home and away fans? That's also necessary if it's not done yet.

Yeah. I've done that, basically mirroring how it is shown on Arianos' video tutorials.

I keep thinking I must have a setting or tool selection wrong, since I'm still learning blender from scratch.

Or another thought... when I created new groups, I didn't create a group for away fans, and I left some faces empty/ungrouped. My goal is to create a crowd placement with an old school MLS look - big, mostly empty stadium, with little or no traveling support. Like this previous gen stadium. I don't know if using that method would create an error...

Success! Finally got it to work. Thanks for the help. I'm probably way more excited than I should be to play in front of a realistically empty stadium.

don't know the reason, but always do the checks before export:
1. the hair ID must always match the head/eyes ID
2. the images namings must always be correct (p.e. hair_cm)
3. before click export, make sure that both the two hair images are ticked

I checked everything, everything has the same ID, the names were right, but I still had the same error

A question for those who know how to use blender.

Long version: I made a face in blender and when I tried to export the files I was able to export everything except the head. A weird error popped out, didn't know what it was, didn't take screencap. I hadn't erase the original file nor moved it, I don't know why it just didn't let me export it. Anyway, got mad, saved and closed it all. So, now that of course I can´t export the file from a saved project, I was wondering if there's a way I can copy the mesh or head, onto another head that I could import? so I don't have to do it all again. I tried using the shrinkwrap modifier but it didn't work. So is there a way to copy the head or export the head made?

Short version: Is there a way to copy the mesh/vertex/model of a head on another head with a tool in blender?

Open a new face in blender, then open the face you had started and copy/paste it from the errorous save to the new one. Like moving a file from a folder to another. Just allign it properly, because it might fly away! Let me know of the result

You mean manually connect the dots/vertices? Yeah I coud do that. I was just looking for a more automatic process. Because I remember that using shape keys or modifiers, animation sth like that I was once able to do this. read it on a blog quite hard to find now. If time passes by and nobody else remembers how to do it I'll do it this way.
Thanks for replying so soon I appreciate it.

oh, then I don't know what you mean. I tried that, and paste the object on a new head. Delete the other head, changed the name of the pasted one and tried to import it but it didn't work.

Here's the error box if it helps
