FIFA 16 Career Mode Bug: No European Competitons After 1st Season

There are no European competitions like Champions League and Europa League after the first season ends in FIFA 16. I have attached an image that is from the start of the second season. I have also opened up CM16 to check the database but everything looks fine. Please help me fix this problem.

Dude, have you thought about waiting for the complete group stage squad AFTER the qualification round?

You are using moddingay , aren't you?
Right before starting the career , make a copy of your db folder elsewhere , reapply the db you want with moddingway installer , copy the backup db in the game , regenerate , and that is it.
This is am issue with moddingway and compdata , wich appeared last year , and this year after 453 all in one.

You should apply "career mode tournaments" from MWM Selector after you make all edits in your database, you have to do it every time before you start new career

wait, derrek is right, the groups don't get decided in the beginning, you've got to finish the qualifiers first, duh

I am having the same problem but with Champions League and Europa League after the first season. Second season I qualify for either tournament, it just says TBD on the schedule all the way to the end of the season and says I didn't hit my goals. Third Season same issue! I tried everything.

Is as I said above or Radikal said , you must do that right before starting the new career , and not touch the db after.

I have read everything above and tried all the steps. I even used the default 6.0 and matrix without editing my db and still no luck. I simmed the season as Chelsea qualified for Champions League and still no luck.

Anyone fixed this? i got a similar problem but it says N/D instead TBD in the tables, i can even see those teams making points in the table, please heeeelp

I have to copy the db before pasting the new db(the one i want to apply) file or after???
Why are you saying reapply??
could you plz xplain steps (...after installing the fifa 16 and hv not applied any mods) once more plz.......

First method (easyer):
-do what you need to do edit db (add kits, modify player stats, etc), save, exit:
-before launching the game, open moddingway selector, and at the select tournaments you slelect career mode tournaments, posh the button apply tournaments, close moddingway selector, and ready:
-launch the game, start career and so on:
PS:after closing the selector, you do not edit the database again, from my personal exeperience, even opening the db with CM 16 or DB master can create the problem, just start the game directly.
Second method:
Apply wich data base you want from the moddingway selector, make edits at your choice of data base, save, go to where your fifa 16 is installed, make a copy of your db folder inside data, place it elsewhere ( desktop), open moddingway selector, apply again the same data base, copy db folder from your desktop in the game/data folder, overwritte everything, regenerate cand ready.
Needless to say you do not touch again the db also.
