How to convert FIFA15 faces for FIFA16

All you have to do is import the FIFA15 files with Creation Master 16 Beta 2 or 1.0, the face will be detected as a FIFA15 head model and will automatically get converted to FIFA16 versions.

There are chances that the eye positions will be incorrect, in such cases you will need to the following:

• Export the newly imported files from CM16
• Import them into Blender
• Edit them accordingly

If you do not know how to use Blender, then do the next best thing... learn how to use Blender.

This conversion is still in Beta phase which means that there are chances that you might find issues with certain head/hair models (for example, I was unable to use Marcelo's hair from FIFA15).

I have an idea for convert faces from 15 to 16. if you remember morph function of 3ds max, i found same function on blender and its working perfect but we have a problem. If I copy same material its working good but when I import fifa 15 faces as an obj file its not working. If we solve this problem, we can convert fifa15 faces easly. If you watch this tutorial. you can understand what I mean.

Yeah, just the new face textures. Someone should also categorise them into folders like we had in the face archive by grafsky last year. Just the new scans should do since all the others are the same as last year.

ATTENTION FACEMAKERS

Some of you might not know this, but the incredible Revolution Mod by Scouser allows several files to be rotated randomly in game.

It means that if you create several face textures (e.g. beard / shaven) or several hair choices (e.g. Cristiano Ronaldo), you don't need to only choose one!

By naming them properly (specificface_playerid_var_textures.rx3, specifichair_playerid_var_textures.rx3 and so on), we can add more diversity into our game (especially Career Mode).


Please consider this when creating and releasing faces!

guys what is the problem when I'm exporting the texture from blender I can see it

Similar issue here. when exporting textures from blender the head_wkl_nm layer dissappears. Is there another way to edit textures?

Was you able to converted fifa 15 to fifa 16 yet mate?

I was able to convert a face from FIFA 15 to FIFA 16 but we have the same problem than we had in FIFA 15 when converting to FIFA 14, the indexes order ( that´s why the head does not work properly ) Rinaldo was able to order them according to FIFA 15 model and we were able to have FIFA 14 faces in FIFA 15.

I think we should remade them anyway,because of new lightning,new alpha textures.

Would be nice if we could use head models though, so only textures need to be remade.
