Do I still hope to get more leagues? Yes. Do I expect any new leagues besides the Brazilian one? No. I hope the Brazilian one returns, but besides that one I don't see any other league entering FIFA16.

Never understood the purpose of including all generic teams like Boca, Seattle or River in the demo. All it does is show EA's indifference towards those teams, leagues and regions.

Including Seattle is meant to appease North American gamers, 99% of whom wouldn't know if the team was generic or not.

yes..being from canada..would be stupid not to have a north american team in the demo.

Corinthians SC won't be in FIFA16. The other Brazilian clubs might be. KONAMI confirmed they had secured the exclusive rights for Corinthians and Corinthians confirmed the same later saying KONAMI made a "better offer" and respected the club's importance in World Football (more money). EA offered them $30k for the licencing whereas KONAMI offered somewhere around $120k

I think it's stupid that video game franchises have to battle it out for licenses. The end result is that both games will have missing/generic teams.

I guess the clubs just agree because they're getting more money to make sure they don't provide licencing for competitors.

I believe that is the least of our worries , because things like licensing or unreal club , league or player names can be fixed in no time at all , the real problem is gameplay which is not so easy to fix , in fact is very hard , and that is what I really want to see EA change or upgrade.
In fact if I could have that I would gladly change it with all the licensing and other graphic stuff in game.

FIFA will always be arcade. Super fast, super effective, where impossible goals can be scored. They will never try to make it like real football.
