FIFA 16 Women Patch

Working on a database myself, I find this interesting.

If I understand correctly, that means that I have to use all the leagues from the original game, I can't delete one of them. Correct ?

About the number of teams, does this restriction concern the tournament itself or the championship ? In other words, is it possible to make a championship with 64 teams (teams that would be dispatched inside 4 randomly created leagues/groups) work in career mode ?

You can delete a league, but should use the ID for a replacement league. Not doing so can can cause the job search menu to crash and occasional random crashes during the career occurring at the start of a month.

The team limit for a league is 30 and the limit for a cup is 92 I think. To play a career mode with a team, it's league must have a league tournament. You could add your championship as a cup, then prevent the needed league from scheduling fixtures if you do not want to play them.

I like the additions of New Zealand and Sweden div 2 to the career...any chance for Norway div 2, France div 2, Japan div 2, Denmark div 2, and Italy div 2?

Is the Copa Libratadores in the career mode, or just as a special compdata tournament, as in the 2.0?

Glad you like the new additions! None of those leagues are currently planned. Copa Libertadores is playable in career mode.

Just do a clean install (as shown in "Read Me.txt") and copy the patch files. All needed files are included.

I have re-installed (downloaded game, dropped in files, regenerated files, ran filename fix thingy, installed career compdata) twice, and it crashes at splash page start-up.

What am I doing wrong?

Nothing obvious seems wrong. Does the game work correctly before the patch is installed? Try a different regeneration method. Personally, I usually use the regeneration function in CM16.

The crazy part is, except for an issue with the Brazilian League in the career mode which rendered it un-playable, the career mode worked and I did not have the crash issues others reported in the 2.0 version. It worked great, and it was really well-balanced. Does anybody have a working 2.0 db?

I tried a third time last night, just dropping in the files and regenerating with the i68 regenerator, (before I used the CM16) and it did the same thing.

What was the issue with the Brazilian league?

I think the best tactic is start with a clean install, and make sure it works. Then add the patch files in these folders to your game, then regenerate and test. Test between each folder. We need to figure out which file(s) are the problem first, these are some possibilities.

FIFA 16\data\db\*
FIFA 16\data\loc\*
FIFA 16\data\fifarna\*
FIFA 16\dlc\*

If you want to revert back, here is the link for V2.0. You will need more than just the DB, the language DBs and compdata would be needed. Maybe other things too. I would suggest to only do this if we can not resolve your issue with V3.0.

I'll try it later. I re-installed the game (my hardware is a bit on the older side, and overall performance is inconsistent, that might have something to do with it :confused2:) and the vanilla ran fine. How do I test the individual folders?. Also, my copy of the game is a digital copy via Origin. The issues was in career with Gremio where it crashed when I tried to play a career mode match against Idanbura, which oddly did not happen when I played a regular friendly match.

For example, to test the DB, copy the contents of data\db\ from the patch archive to your game and regenerate. Then load the game and see if it works. Then one by one do the same for the other folders I mentioned. If your game crashes, then the source of the problem will be in the last set of files added, I can then suggest further tests. My FIFA 16 is from Origin so that is definitely not a problem.

I will not investigate the Brazilian league issue at this point as it is in an old version of the patch. It seems like a very rare occurrence.

Wow, thanks!

Does anyone know if EA are planning a DLC for FIFA 19 with the Women's World Cup?

I realized something when looking through the readme for the 2.0 version...it tells you to delete a couple of the files from the loc folder (locale.big etc) before installing, but the 3.0 readme does not. Could that be the issue?

The language DBs must be deleted from locale.big to make the game use the patch ones. In V3.0 I added a program (LanguageDBFix.exe) to do this to make the process easier.

Try the tests I suggested, they will narrow down the cause of the problem.
