Beta, you are more experienced in this so what do you think must be tweaked in order for the teams to accept any player I offer to exchange and not to reject me during negociations cut scene, saying they are looking for some other player position. And to be funny to the end, when I offer them the player on the position the manager told me it is looking for, I get the response that is not interested in the offered player (like Bernardo Silva, would you believe it) or....it is looking for another position!!!

My mod tries to keep things realistic, so you have to scout those players.
Also cheating isn't something I do.

If you need all those things it is better to mod your own version.

Hmm, do you mean the player values and wages too high?
I did lower this in develop, hope to correct this in the next version.

Anyway glad to have you back this year. I'm still using your camera xml trick from fifa 15 and my career files are based on your works and everything is working fine.
I had to increase values and wages togeter with other stuff because my personal db has greatly reduced overall values
Just one thing can't figure out:
I reduced the match importance in matchimportance.ini and in compdata/settings
because I believe that a reduced match importance gives you better, less scripted matches.
Problem is that with reduced match importance managerai will use a very bad lineup (especially for gks and strikers; like for example Pinamonti in place of Icardi and Pinsoglio in place of Buffon and also before these (low importance) matches I will receive often email from my third line players asking me to let them play).
I can't figure out how to solve it: It's not the usual problem related to stamina (I fixed that).
I tried several managerai setting for example these 3 (but many other combinations):

I also tried to correct the ridicolous ea spelling mistake "match imporance" with the correct one "match importance" but no luck
I also changed the same spelling horror in the intfs file but still nothing changes

I worked on that for a few days in FIFA 17 and finally fixed it in my game with db edits. It has to do with several things. The closer in overall rating the bench players are to the starting 11 players, the more the AI will sub them in. The worst example of this is the AI will very often play the backup GK if he is rated almost as high as the starting GK, which I think is an actual programming glitch. I found the backup GK had to be rated around 20 points lower than the starting GK before the AI would always choose the starting GK.

Also, the AI will play or early-sub bench players it deems as playing the "correct" position. Say the starting CM is playing RM. The AI will choose to start or sub a bench RM just because it sees that player as the correct player for the position. The LB/RB position logic is the most strict, the AI will always choose an LB or RB over a CB, no matter what the CB is rated. AND will even choose midfielders as LB/RB over CBs. One of the things I did to fix that was set all players' position 1 values as CB, CM or CF, and position 2/3/4 as nil.

There is a team trait value "sticks with regular lineup." You could try setting that and see if it helps. I always set those values to 0, the team traits EA has are quite useless.

EDIT: If POS_BIAS has to do with Weighting of Position Suitable and Overall, then I would set that at 0 and see if that works better. Also, in FIFA 16 team traits were 8 = consistent lineup and 4 = squad rotation. I imagine they are the same for FIFA 18. It might also explain why teams in your game are changing lineups, maybe their team trait is set to 4.

your mod was fine but when you are going to simulate the schedule from one game to another it gets very slow. How to fix it?
