Guys how do I know the mod is actually working (the settings actually being applied?)
You can for example check if you can train a players pac by applying the penalty training on him. It should say sprint speed next to the other stats it trains

I tried this patch with the career start in 2018 but it crashes when trying to load the game

Hey guys, about FIFA 19 CM. They fixed some of the issues and added Sprint speed and stuff like that on training. But I have also faced a lot of new issues which I will fix whenever the game and modding tools come out.
At least partially working version is not expected?
will you still be updating github for fifa 18?

I would like to see another version for Fifa 18 too but, already a few people have acces to closed beta and they actually changed a few things already. Sprint Speed and Strengh in training for example. All these things got leaked look at: https://twitter.com/FifaCMNetwork , https://twitter.com/FIFACareerGems for example.
Those things can be modded though, the only feature that I'd consider to be "new" and interesting is the player and AI tactics. Some of the supposedly new features that EA are putting into FIFA 19 are ones that existed in 17 but they just decided to take out of 18 for no reason, other than to make it look like a new feature again in 19 (i.e. the ability to loan out a freshly promoted player and requesting a transfer budget increase).
IMO what modders like TheAwesomeGem and others have achieved with FIFA 18 is better than what EA can be bothered to do with the release of their new games, at least with respect to career mode. All EA care about is people spending silly amounts of money on packs in FUT.
Once I manage to get a career mode tweak mod like this one working with FIP 4.0 for FIFA 18 I honestly don't think I could justify dropping £40 on the latest release.
And what about "crazy" transfers? I am sure that nothing has changed there. This problem has existed for many years. Unrealistic transfers.
This spoils the whole careee mode..

I looked into strings.exe for FIFA 19 and have some interesting values that I am going to put into cmsettings to see if it has any impact. For example, the instant loaning of a player that you have just signed.
