Could this be an issue with the ADAPTIVE_DIFFICULTY I have enabled?
What happens when this has been set to 0?

The games becomes a bit too easier but stronger teams are a bit more challenging to beat. I wish there was a way to control ADAPTIVE_DIFFICULTY based on the team rating.

Yes it works. The gameplay patch doesn't affect career mode. I personally don't use Frosty tools. I just put the locale.ini file on the data folder and replace the existing file.

Oh, I thought it's for career.

Don't know why it shouldn't?
Tried a few debug settings and it clearly effected the career mode gameplay, e.g. CPUAI debug tings.

Will it work if I copy your code on top of locale.ini in the game dir, making a backup of the file before? I can't seem to get it to work with Frosty Editor.

You don't need the Frosty Editor for this, just paste it at the top of locale.ini.

Seems to work for me. At least I have all celebrations now. Gameplay seems more challenging, but it also can be placebo.

Any hint how I can test the new gameplay out? Score 5 goals in first 5 minutes and see how the CPU tears me apart?

You don't need the Frosty Editor for this, just paste it at the top of locale.ini.

Thanks. I will try this out. I am sick of fifa 18 cpu quality levels going dramatically up and down without reason.
I have been using the career mode patch combined with awesomegems match sim ini patch.
At first the game were superb. I am playing as morecambe in league 2. And once again fifa 18 fashion the gameplay inexpicably changed and the cpu couldnt pass the ball anymore, couldnt score etc etc. Suddenly i won every game easily. its so boring to win that way and makes playing a waste of time.
So i will try this ini edit in the hope that the game becomes a challenge. Sadly I feel it unlikely that it will overcome the scripting in the game.I am playing on world class level. I gave up on legendary as it was too easy!!!!
Awesomegem says hes working on eliminating all scripting. fingers crossed.

Hey Beta, i can't play anymore without your lines in my ini haha, just a question btw, you use standard sliders? And you play slow or normal speed? Thanks a lot for the mod, without this and carrer mods i would have stopped playing a long time ago this year

I use the default sliders and game speed (normal).
Be free to set your own sliders and/or settings, it should work fine with game customization.

Don't use gp.ini! It's just the mod contents, you need to place that contents into locale.ini.

Thanks again for the mod, everything working fine for me and i'm finally having some challenge. Only one thing i noticed but i'm not sure if it's caused by this mod, but when there's one offside, the game continues and only after 2-3 in game minutes the referee stops the match, anyone having the same bug?

Hey nevermind, deleting the line WHISTLE_DELAY_FOR_OFFSIDE=0.0f solved the problem for me, thanks again!
