The language of the commentary and ingame language will be the same as the one chosen in origin in game properties , and you can't change that from inside the game .
So
If your fifa 18 copy support English language you could choose english in game properties in origin
And if it doesn't support English language you could edit the fifa 18.exe with hex editor into English , and add the english language commentary files to avoid game crashing ,
and the ingame language and commentary language will be in English .

No they don't!? Link!? Text!? The only thing the patchnotes say is "Players will no longer be able to choose a language, at the startup of the game" ... that's are the flags mate! There is nothing about the commentary option and the consoles are not even have that text passage in the patchnotes.

That's the one thing ... and on the other side. IF this is on purpose ... why in the world they would make cuts like that for PC-Gamers!? Why the games are now different between systems. I mean ... just WHY!? Did I have to buy FIFA 19 on PS4 to have the commentary options and why the options are still there, but greyd out!?

@V.K - You'r absolutely right. I love doing that too. I love playing the game with the english commentators (the german commentators are so bad an they know nearly none of the players names), but maybe you got a away game against Juve, then maybe put it on Italian, to get the ultimative away feeling.

And yeah ... It doesn't help at all, changing it in Origin. Thats not the same in any way. The game then checks all files for 10 minutes and like I said. I don't want the whole game in english, just the commentary.

Sry but was has this to do with that!? I still need someone, who is maybe able to help me.

EDIT: Is there a way to change (only) "The Journey" language with hex!? Because when I install the game in german, I can change the language of Journey from german to english ingame. But when I install it in english, I can't change it.

I hope that they change the gameplay
And easy the game controls which is stupid and confusing
And change the matches difficulty system which depend in making you make mistakes in pathetic frustrating manner

Spoiler: Tutorial

Open the original FIFA18.exe with WinHex, find the string ru_RU, replace it with en_US and save the file. If you did everything right, the game will have the commenters you need.

Yeah any version I download from anywhere (about 7 different websites) gives that message.

Is it necessary to install WinHex? Is it not working because I'm launching it from its rar archive?

I don't know if that is possible or not ?!

I think any fifa 19 version will support the English language beside the region language
I noticed that the Russian version supports both Russian and English languages in FIFA 19
