After all those years FIFA finally gets Mercurial Vapor model.

I would not be so sure. I remember Hyprevenom Phinish in early FIFA 17 trailers, but it was not in final game. So it's not guaranteed.

There will be only two La Liga stadiums.. poor EA..

EA's laziness still impressing me, we all know there are rights issues, but even so I feel that EA don't include new things because they simply don't want to, and not because they can't... This feels is growing each new FIFA for me and this is very sad, they have a good product but they don't improve it on puporse...

This year I'll buy FIFA only if the community manage to mod it, otherwise I'll keep playing my "modable" FIFA 16.

Yes, I felt bored with 17 after the first week, unmodded fifa is terrible.. but FIFA 16 is so boring after playing for 2 years too, even cant find a good slider which is enjoyable.. I tried PES too but the gameplay of that game is literally shit

Yeah, FiFA 17 was boring. The input delay when you move the player with left stick without sprinting is too high. It was alreadyaggy in FiFA 16 but it was acceptable. And after playing FiFA 12 which was very responsive and comfortable, playing FiFA 17 is impossible.

Ok, so everybpdy saw I believe the news about career mode.
Maybe I miss something here, but the big fuss is made by some cut-scenes during negociations and probably some new attributtes for training.
Can someone point to a real change in career mode, or we have more dust in the eyes thrown?
Anyway, we have less stadiums each years, despite big promisses, kits for almost all teams, except very few just home and away (for third we must play FUT, ofcourse and buy them), same growth system, youth scout, all just linear and borring, body models like fat people and new players are regenerated with tucked shirts, looking strange, very 90's, and the piece de resistence, attribute masking, so hayed by most, yet probably still there. That are the bad things, now I invite someone else to show some good new features.
WE can not yet talk about gameplay untill the demmo at least, allthough I'm not so hopefull about that either, from some oppinions made by the people who played already, indicating again ultrasonic attacking players and very dumb and slow defensmen.

Actually I can't remember when EA made some really exiciting improvements to anything. Every year it's just cosmetics. When in 2014 they announced that all of the Premier League teams get official stadiums I really hoped they will follow with other big leagues in subsequent years. It is sad how many missed opportunities on improving the game there are. FIFA16 was last FIFA I bought, mainly due to the fact that you cannot mod 17 and now thinking if I should buy 18 hardly any reasons come to mind why should I. From looking at the promotional videos one of the new "big" features is crossing control but come on it was always there! In 17 they marketed low shots as something new but it was in FIFA since forever, they disabled it on 15 and 16 and boom FIFA17 NEW EXTRA FEATURE LET'S MAKE PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN ON TWITTER ABOUT IT.

I don't get the direction the EA developers are heading. Are they at least ironing out known bugs like infamous dlc boots on PC, winter balls or player accessories bug in career mode? Nope. Are they improving any game aspect significantly? I even think the gameplay is getting worse (but it is personal preference so it can be debatable). For me the unresponsiveness is too annoying and "scripting" is too prevalent even in player vs player modes. The thing is they really had gameplay nailed in previous versions, while not ideal, it seemed really well balanced in 12, 13 or 15 so it is really frustrating seeing why they changed something that was perfectly acceptable (i.e. penalty system).

They clearly prioritize FUT but is it really being improved upon? You can add so much variety by just adding more classic kits to buy, and why not add kits from previous FIFA since they clearly have the assets? Why to delete Boleyn Ground, Old Velodrome or Gerland instead of enabling possibility to "buy" it as your home stadium in FUT? In 18 White Hart Lane will be removed as well.

I am passing on buying it without any hesitation. Probably buy World Cup 2018 if they do that. And I will be keeping really close eye on PES18, especially if it's moddable.

I'm waiting for FIFA World Cup 2018, if they make it and if they release it on PC. If they can port their new FIFAs to Windows, they should finally be able to port their World cup games after 12 years. without 1 on PC.

Has anyone seen the FIFA Street like game mode in The Journey? Do you think we'll get it in kick off mode? It would be such a huge waisted opportunity if not.

Doesn't look like it will be in Kick off mode. Knowing EA, they will try to release it as seperate game.

If pes18 PC version will be like I saw these days on PS4 Demo, I will definetely buy it. After 7 years, it looks like the king is coming back! About fifa...I only saw just a fifa17 polished.
Look at minute 24- I love it.

i was a massive pes fan (5 & 6).
ive played pes 17 on all platforms. its a nice game then you realise its flaws. the best ones are its AI never crosses and never scores any other than a long shot into top corner or a soft shot into the lower corner. it gets repetitive fast! also its manager mode is incredibly tedious too. nobody signs anyone for a start.

ive played pes 18 demo on ps4 and x1. its more of the same.

Same thing here, I buy both fifa and pes for over 10 years, and every year Pes I play a few hours before it gets really boring, while fifa it takes two month maybe to become boring, or at least without moding, like fifa 17,
which from my point of view is a massive fail, luckily for fifa 16 which has a lot of mods and it is still fun for a short while.
Pes producers (Konami) are very much like EA, just trying to squeze money from us selling the same old crap, just wrapped up nicely. The difference between the two is given by the ammount of money put in the game, EA invests a lot more than Konami and it shows, while Konami buys some exclusive license, like Nou Camp, or Corinthians and makes big waves about it, announcing like a brand new game, which is not.
Probably, at this point, if a game is not worth his money is pes, I do not know if pes 18 is in this category, but most probably is, with fifa on the edge and one or two more dissapointments like fifa 17 will make it go downhill fast and encourage piracy. I still have hopes for fifa 18 and I hope will not be destroyed on the 29th of september.
