You realize a large portion of these people complaining are using a cracked game and assume their cracked version is supposed to work like the original. Also, I installed the tools on both Windows 7 and 10, and had different issues getting both to work. Tools work/don't work depending on the particular PC setup.

Pfft, so the latest update started performance issues with the game.

Previous update fixed FPS lock issue and everything was fine. But now during some cut scenes I drop to low as 50 FPS.

Something has got to be done about these bots spamming the forum.
It' really annoying and this is since the new platform.

Guys, is it just me, or the world has gone crazy with the prices for video cards today?
They are more expensive now than in december...
I'm saying this because I want to buy a new one given the fact that I hear that Fifa 19 will have much higher specs than fifa 18.
Maybe in september, a video card that costs 500 euros now, will be 700 euros.
Something is wrong here.

This is crazy!
The value of bitcoin is enorm and it's unstabil. This has all the ingredients for a huge crash, just like the financial crush 10 years ago.
The videocards producers are flooding the market to keep up with the demand and one day, suddenly the crash will come.Hopefully untill fifa 19.

I must be out of the loop.. How does bitcoin affect the PC gaming market? I don't know anything about bitcoin.
(With regards to the future of video cards, given having to shell out hundreds more, I'll be perfectly content just updating FIFA 16 and 18, I've already left some other sports games behind in their current versions for older ones that I can run, edit, and that play better anyway)

Here I am in February, end of the transfer window, with the problem that has plagued my FIFA playing for years: I can't do any of the real life transfers in the game. Why EA has never included what they have in every other sports game, a simple way to control the whole league and create transactions. So every year I fall into this trap where I either start the season when I want to in autumn, or wait until February so I can get the squads for the end of the year.
Is there any chance that any of you has any ideas for how to satisfy my need to keep my season squads current?

I don't really understand Bitcoin either. However, it seems to have pushed the price of gpu through the roof. Top quality card prices have more than doubled. This prevents people from upgrading and Investing in PC gaming.

I believe that for cryptocurency mining there are dedicated video cards without graphic interface which are cheaper but there is such a madness about this mining that just are not enough stocks of video cards anywhere and the producers can't even keep up with the demand, selling all of them as soon as they emerge from the factory.
For a few days there was a decrease in the market, but now the prices are up again and the hopes for upgrading our pc's are down.(as of yet...patience is the actual word)

I don't get it, that still doesn't explain to me what the manufacture of GPUs has to do with this invented currency. Why does one have anything at all to do with the other.

The miners require certain and above spec'd hardware for computing power to solve the blocks involved in mining this currency.
Like any other business it takes money to make money and the GPU makers are taking advantage of it and unfortunately the PC gaming
community with have to take the hit until this ****** currency becomes obsolete.

Wait... let me get this straight... people who are mining data illegally to hack and steal bitcoin from people's accounts are buying GPUs, and the GPU manufacturers are knowingly raising prices for their own benefit even though it's profiting from something they know to be illegal? Is that it?
Well, first of all, that's gotta violate some kind of law, and second, clearly what that says to me is that there isn't enough money to be made in the PC gamer market. The gaming tech industry (and any other industry, really) doesn't care where their turnover comes from, so if going about it immorally doesn't bother them then clearly it's because there's so much money to be made from miners they can park their morals to make money for a few fiscal calendars. Well, then that means the PC gamer market is smaller than I thought. And if the consoles are doing worse than ever before, then the gaming industry doesn't have the legs it had around 6 years ago anymore. And maybe that's all obvious to others but I'm just realising this now. This has partly to do with the fact that I really only play older games anymore both in sports and in adventure gaming.
My opinion... the PS4/XBOXone era has killed gaming. There's a point in any industry where you add more elements and features to your widget for nothing more than spreading yourself across more areas and offer more than what any consumer actually needs, and when that happens you spread yourself too thin and stagnate. I've owned consoles since the Genesis and I have never played less games and owned less games on the current console than I do now with my PS4. I'd say 90% of our gaming now, mine and my wife's, is done on PC and older consoles. The PS4 gets used mostly to watch NHL.TV and MLB.TV. And this isn't only because of the price of games today, it's because we can't find anything we want to play badly enough and tons of older games we never got around to. (And my wife and I are in our late 30s in case anyone's interested in demographics)
Anyway, sorry, this isn't relevant to FIFA anymore but I think we're all having an interesting conversation.

They aren't hacking and stealing, that is not how mining works.

It is a process of a bitcoin transaction in which blocks are generated and the mathematics involved to solve the algorithm requires demanding computational power
in which high end CPUs and GPUs help with. All that is being done is verifying transactions in order to earn bitcoins.

I don't think it will last but who knows, it's value has already depreciated 50%.

Oh... wow, then I really have no clue at all what this is. Sorry to have gone off on my little tangent, then. I don't even understand why people use bitcoin, so this mining stuff is completely foreign to me. I need the hdd space in my brain for other things.
