FIFA 18 Thumbnail Has "Test Code" On It?

This is ridiculous. I payed 56.25 $ and after redeeming my code it had Test Code on it's corner. What does it mean? Was I scammed? I bought key cause I don't have credit card to buy directly from Origin. Will these get removed from my Account? Then it will be a total waste of my hard saved money.

I searched online for hours and didn't find anything related to this. I contacted the key seller and they are saying that some of their keys were test code but it works fine. But I'm not convinced by this excuse. I smell somethings fishy.


Oh, I tried contacting EA Customer Support. Waited 25 minutes until I finally gave up. I need help Asap. Thanks.

The game runs fine though. I even played Online Season match for the first time in my life lol. In FiFA 15, 16 and 17 I couldn't even find players. Connection was pretty acceptable too with less lag.

So the game did installed. But there's a Test Code label on my FiFA 18 thumbnail in Origin. Who knows what will happen. Maybe EA might remove it? I don't know if mine's any different from normal version? The graphics look same.

Can't say for sure with Fifa 18, but games that I've beta tested for EA/Origin had that in the thumbnail.

That's on you really. Just do some research first, there are several trustworthy sites, like CDKeys. Origin sells the game for $80, CDKeys for $70. That's a reasonable deal. Problems happen when people what it cheap, cheaper and cheapest, and then order from a site in Abuja or some such place that's selling it for 50 bucks.

Life rule: If the deal is too good to believe, it's probably a scam.

Actually the price is same as Origin in my region. It's 55$ in India and Bangladesh.

So it wasn't even a good deal. Everything seems to work fine though. When I try to buy it from origin, it says I already own the game.

I'll see what happens.

Edit: The main reason I bought from them is because I don't have a credit card to buy directly from Origin. Else why would I buy key thats priced same as my region.

I don't think anyone's other than people of my country are buying from them. It looks more like a group that sells keys in Bangladesh. And user response was pretty good. Idk how I got fucked up badly. Or maybe other customers are dumb enough to not realize somethings fishy.


Currently the game is still owned if I check on store. Hopefully it stays that way.
