FIFA 19 News and Suggestions

I'm not gonna lie, I love what FIFA18 feels like with certain modifications in place. But I've been playing PES2019 for two days now and it is in several ways, leaps and bounds above FIFA. They're different, but for the time being I see no reason to get FIFA19 because it won't be better than 18 with mods. And PES, again for me, is just too fun and too good.
Apart from the fact that all AI goals are exactly the same, pass to centre of goal, flick pass, goal. The game itself is fine but yeah FIFA 18 modded is better than FIFA 19 vanilla. So I will wait for FIFA 19 to be moddable and go down in price before purchasing.

First disappointment with fifa 19....not all the stadiums I was hoping for from those early clues, like Hoffenheim Arena and Wolfsburg but at least Signal Iduna is back and nothing for Italy. Also I do have some doubts that dynamic weather will be introduced.
Paul, if you wait until price drop it's a good chance to wait spring 2019...
Modding should be possible earlier this year. Let's see the demo and hope it's the same as the main release.
And really now, those generic stadiums are absolutely outdated. Perhaps we'll not see fifa 2030 with the same ones.
PS: Huraay for the "modest" prices for Nvidia RTX 2080, approaching 1000 Euros and over not to mention the Ti. Very affordable and a "huge" difference in games compared to 1080 Ti....up to 10%(which is quite cheap now).
Well gotta tell you, I bought a 1080 ti and never give it a second thought. It's e very powerful GPU and now it's worth it.

Yet to jump ship to PES because of work responsibilities but still mulling it over.

I've actually reverted to FIFA 17, which for me is much better than 18. 17 barely looks any different but it's certainly harder to score against the CPU. They seem more determined to stop you scoring, and more determined to score themselves at least!

I'm actually harbouring some hopes of 19 having longevity purely because of the 'Ultimate' difficulty that appears to be in career mode. If it's anything like Ultimate difficulty in FUT it will be really bloody hard, which hopefully I'll like.

Well, congratulations to those who spent over 1000 Euros on a Nvidia RTX 2080.
Full benchmarks now, that the 2080 is released show equality with GTX 1080 ti which is between 500 and 600 euros with little variations between those two in different games and even the 1080 ti better in some titles.
No point mentioning RTX 2080 ti, at the price there will be released I'm not convinced is even a consumer GPU, it's just stupid not that 1000 plus Euros is better.
Lucky for us, fifa 19 will be more down to this earth with requirements even with ultra lod and stuff like that.
Take it from me, those who want to upgrade, do not buy a 4k monitor, just go with a 2k 144 hz one and a gtx 1080 ti, you won't be sorry. I sold my 4k and went with this solution and the cost combined was under 1000 Euros. The performance leap is incredible. With a 4k monitor which anyway is at 60 fps max you won't even hit that on most games plus the fact that the human eye will not notice any difference but the difference is huge on a 2k 144 hz monitor (not even gsync needed).
This domain is exactly like FIFA vs PES with one raining supreme and imposing it's prices. Nvidia for now is way ahead of AMD but that is due to change.
