Thank you for your quick and thorough response Fidel.

It has confirmed my fears though, that in order to stay fully updated I would need to pay the $5 a month, on top of the $60 paid for the core game.

I really enjoy FAES and at times it was the only thing which made FIFA 19 playable, however I don't think I can justify an extra $60 for the whole year, so will have to do as you say and donate in strategic months.

Not a criticism , I do think you should be compensated for the brilliant work you do. I just personally have too many monthly subscriptions and can't afford the whole season.

I think you're wrong.

In fact for example you can only pay once for the gp cam tweaker pack (which will be updated soon with new cams),
which will always work throughout the season even after the game title update.

My choice is very simple:
when I realized that others were selling or making money with my mods and my arduous work then I decided to do it myself too.

But the main reason is to create exclusive and protected content for those who are truly interested.

These are your expenses forecasts, but you're not a FIFA TRANSFORMERS Admin, right?

So your tariff plan is completely wrong.

You cannot know the new dynamics distribution that will be activated.
For example who is Gold Patron at least once has rights to get updates throughout the season for free.
Before making false information, wait for official communications or ask for information.

Not a criticism.

I'm really not. Transformers page is clear enough, to have access to your mods and updates I have to pay $10 monthly. It's just a fact.
Having one mod that's pay once only does not negate all the other mods, the relevant ones.

I am not even complaining about you asking for money for the mods, my issue is with the monthly payments.
Sorry, but paying $120 in a year for a mod to play a $60 game just sounds ridiculous.

You could just sell it as a one payment and still have a patreon like system so people could support you and maybe create a small delay in release/update for those who don't support monthly.
Then a bigger delay for free release as you do already.

But I don't want to hijack this thread with venting. It's not the proper place. I just had to say something.

Just to make you understand one thing:
you've already downloaded the Frosty Editor for free, right?
This is thanks to all those like me who have paid up to 30 euros so far for alpha and beta testing phase.
However, for me it was an immense pleasure so as to be able to resolve common errors for the public version,
make support, and be able to start work for the mods in advance.

High quality is paid, in all sectors it is so.
Enough with the thieves who steal mods and make money with the work of others.
No more junk mods, thanks to Patreon cleaning will be done.
In this way, only the great modders will be supported.
Patreon also creates in the modder, the need to do always better and more,
leading him to accurate study and create things never done before.

Fidel, I think that you should charge if you want. I do not think that it is anyone's place to tell you that you should release things for free. If you would rather sell than give, that is up to you. I do disagree with the notion that people will now be unable to steal your work and sell it, though. I can reverse engineer your particlefx mod with ease... I can distribute your work after downloading it. I would never do that, of course... but others can and will. I just don't think that point follows practical logic. I hope that you will continue to explain things and make little tutorials, though... what we really need is more modders. It seems like everyone wants to encrypt everything, and I would never have learned to mod were it not for the open-source nature of FIFA modders before frostbite. I have respect for your work, though... and I appreciate all that you have provided over the years

Fidel I don't think you read my comment in the way it was intended, and none of what I wrote was a criticism nor false information.

You're correct though, I didn't know you were doing that with the updates and I don't think I've seen it mentioned, that was why I was asking in the first place.

Now I do know I'm hyped and can't wait to start my FIFA 20 for real when your mod comes out, keep up the good work!

Hello friends, anyone knows wich file i can change the colors of the nets? Back in fifa 16 it was in the squad file in the "stadium" sheet... but in fifa 20 i theres no stadium sheet in the db file... anyone knows? I want to give Borussia Park all white nets (its wrong atm).

there is a table called "stadiums" but not in the squads/career file. Its inside the database

- Download this FIFA20_INITFS_PACK
- Extract *.rar archive in a folder
- Run CG File Explorer 18 AS ADMIN (not included in this pack)
You can direct download from here
- In the screen "Please select Fifa Game", from menù (click down arrow) and click "Add New"
- Browse and select the (fake) executable: \FIFA20_INITFS_PACK\FIFA.exe
- In the next screen click "Select" and then Continue (avoid any error screen)
- Browse, edit and then Save and Make your inifs_Win32 Custom Mod based on your PC Specs

The pack include latest inifs_Win32 already decompressed and ready to edit.

I suggest for best editing to:
- "Export" the related *.lua, edit and save with Notepad++
- "Import" back the edited *.lua file
- "Save" and then "Create Mod", wait process done, close every CGFE window.

Check your custom mod inside: \FIFA20_INITFS_PACK\Mods\your_patch_name\Win32_Patch\
Install the mod in your game folder: \FIFA 20\Patch (and in \ModData\patch)

To run Fifa 20 with the modded and decompressed inifs_Win32 is required
