FIFA 2003? Give me a beak !

You know graphics are awesome, but what is goina happen to the screwwed up gameplay? HUH....two full of nonsense levels at which one could EASILY play in the most recent EASPORTS game....that is full of crap! The textures and graphics are amazing but they are not goina make a difference if the gameplay is as crap as that waste of money World Cup game! YUCK! Why on earth do people get so excited by just looking at the graphics I haven' t a clue, but apparently a good looking game with FULL OF JUNK GAMEPLAY is enough ! Sure the motion captures are amazing, all the fancy crap like CELEBRATIONS are over the top, Cinematics are good to say the least.....BUT I mean cmmon' folks, WHO ON Earth gives 2 cents worth about a NICE LOOKING GAME that is easy to dominate at 2 levels and IMPOSSIBLE TO HANDLE AT the remaining 2 LEVELS !

Just look at where this game is being made...CANADA? EASPORTS Canada? They don' t know squat about soccer! How on Earth they won the Gold Cup in 2000 I have no idea....! Canada isn' t even in the the top 30 as far as the World Rankings are concerned ! What kinda crap do folks in this part of the world know about designing a soccer game? WE in North America knmow nothing! N O T H I N G ! EASPORTS has to get some Europeans to program this game.....till then good looking stupidity is all that is goina be priovided!

Screenshots don' t mean Carlos until u get a shot at the actual game! They only make it look attractive creating a false sense of hope and anticipation in the peeps that look at them!

maybe if you used a different approach, people could actualy listen
to what you got to say...

but anyway, you got the point...
every year (and I mean: every year) we get all excited with the new game
and every year (and I mean: every year) we get dissapointed.

EA graphics have always been a major break-through in football games
but they don't have a clue when it comes to real life football.
all they kindda know, is the EPL.
haven't you know? according to EA only the EPL players got the rating
if you play in any other place... you're a crapy player.

and, yep... he's right about the boredom with the game,
in every game in the last years, you find yourself winning the cpu 21-0 after a month...
hmmm.... unless your stupid defender got stuck,
or the cpu player suddenly shoots from half the field and score...

those dirty tricks are no way for a company such as EA
to handle a crapy game-play or a non lasting hardness game level.

there's a say that "the customer is always right"
and we are the customers, and if we pay 50$ for a game,
we want it to last more then a month.

When that Nico guy came in for that live chat, I think he came in excited, with something to tell us, spread the word kind of thing, he tried to put accross in every answer that he had never been so excited about a product (FIFA 2003) and how they are making massive changes to the gameplay. The ball control in dribbling, passing & shooting has already improved and I think this is a start, they must be making changes, we CAN only hope and we have said what we want to the Nico guy and these forums not just for the past few months of knowing about FIFA 2003, but for the past three years and EA have only give us a little, if not any of these 'demands'.

I only hope that they make some great changes in the gameplay and give us the graphical upgrades that us FIFA people have been asking for years. Obviously gameplay is more important, EA take note!!

Looking at the graphics, they look brilliant, but you can't play a screenshot, we need to wait for a demo and the day the demo is out, is the day people will know if EA have finally got it right, or if they've dug a deeper whole for themselves.

Personally I would go with a better game, but I just don't know how much better, I mean 2002 FIFA World Cup is a BIIIIIIIIIT better then FIFA 2002, but the game is still bad!!!

A year ago ..(just about) I was really impatient for FIFA 2k2 to come out !!! I was one who quite enjoyed FIFA 2001.
I had made some kits and patches for the game even before it came out. And could have had the game off the net .. but decided I would buy it.
I also downloaded the demo .... and later with the game...
I was shocked deep deep down !!!!!
it was surely the worst game play I've ever seen. I thought I'd get past it .. but no :::::
it is absolute sh it .... there's no other way to put it.
I must have played it for about 2 or 3 weeks .... and since then 'early December) the game's been uninstalled and the box and cd are at the bottom of a pile .... not touched since.
when i see that players would hit shots off target from half a yard out ... that normally even if you hit it with your knee it goes in ... I would just quit the game completely.
So I gave up on my patches and hardly downloaded anything from soccered or SG .... and haven't been involved at all.

Anyway my point is, even if FIFA 2003 is absolute awsome or whatever..... I'm not gonna buy it. I'm getting off the net .. warez or something like that. ... and keep the money for something worth it.

Ok, now, if the game is an improvement and that "NICO" guy has been accurate about the improvements, then it is goina be a super game for sure! YOu know , if the game turns out to be as good as folks say, then fantastic! But, getting up ALL your hopes based on a screenshot doesn' t necessarily mean that you are getting a competitive game !

Ha... tell you what... playing good soccer doesn't mean making good PC games. Don't mix it up PLEASE!

Also, "get some europeans to program this game"? ha...tell you what, the best gameplay is done by the Japanese. Maybe... hahaha...
