Long Shot

it's not about the power, it's about timming your shot, there not such a thing as bug players.

'cause u can score those goals with any player that has a good shot rate, like 7 to 10.

it's about knowing ur player how much power does he have with his shot.

and time ur shot, knowing when u have to let go of the shooting button.

it takes practice, once u got the timming down, u can score from almost anywhere on the field

hey friends.

I'm anxiously awaiting for 2004, and to get back in fitness I'd like to master the 2003.

But I still haven't found many special moves in it.

This thread is totally huge and contains a lot of hints and tips in which I'm not interested , I'm interested in special moves like 360 spins, bycicle kicks and the likes, not how to score from a corner and stuff.

So I was wondering, is there a site or database for special moves anywhere, so I can check them out?

How to take freekicks with keyboard

Finally I figured out how to score from freekicks using the keyboard. Move the ball spin icon using shift+arrow keys.
The key to scoring however is to move it so that the icon shortly lights up after you moved it (so dont move it around to quickly because it seems to need half a second or so to determine to light up or not).
I tried it many times and doing it this way (and of course aiming right, using the adequate effect and hitting the shot in or near the green area of the shot bar) it always works, the ball lands exactly on the spot in the goal I aimed at.
At least when Van Hooijdonk or Henry take them, I have not tried with other free kick takers yet.

shift and space bar, they both to different tricks depending on which player it is. Space bar does a goose step most of da time if you know what dat is.

when recieving a corner, and it usually gets headered in, heres how to prevent. dont press anything until you are sure what the opposition will do. if they header it and you dont press anything, your keeper will save it.

when taking a corner you can score with an overhead. just aim for person nearest to penlty spot, and take it with the lob button, the hold r1 and continually press lob towards the goal. takes time to get used to.
