I'm not a 3D artist but I would guess that EA facemakers at least use the 3D scan head model )since the general skull shape doesn't change too much between 20 amd 46 (unless you get fat) instead of scanning the 40s Beckham for story and then sculpting 20s Beckham from scratch.

Speaking of Beckham, can someone with mad Photoshop skills please try removing all neck tattoos from his texture (and another v2 with the neck cross and Romeo left in place)?

In any case, I'd say FIFA has evolved from arcade to simcade. And since the introduction of the new player scanning technique in FIFA 16, it works and looks good enough in creating and animating model to not abandon it.

Yeah the CR7 definetly is (good call) 'simcade' is a good way of putting it. A really really good one honestly. @Skoczek is there some archive available here on site btw that have all the minis from the Classic Patch?

Aye, fair point. The two later ones would def qualify. Babyboyband bangs mid/late 90's version probably have a few alterings done. But yeah, generally pretty much ALL the re-furb ICON//HERO players have been based on older sculpted models from FIFA. Cuz you so rightly pointed out, no reason to sculpt from scratch if you don't have to.

As for what you are asking, you really don't need any 'mad' photoshop skills to do that. Assuming you have any image software (otherwise GIMP and Paint.net are both opensource) you could very easily do that yourself using Either the clone tool or a low opacity eraser =)

Difference between PC and Switch packs
Faces from PC version are in better quality, but also with larger size. Faces from Switch version are in similar quality to original FIFA 14. Some faces in Switch version are outdated.

Authors of these faces are EA Sports.
