Sweet :) I have a question (probably a stupid one but, anyway): Anyone tried adding lines below the last entry in the comp files? Cause I'm wondering if it can be done or if the only way is to change the lines that are avaiable there.

So you wanna start editing the compdata files and don't have a clue what to do. I didn't at first either but it all make senses after studying them and with getting a few questions answered from those who have made patches already. Yes you can add lines to the bottom of compobj and other tables to create tournaments. For Example my patch takes compobj past 1500 because I added 4 tournaments and will be adding 5th as well so it will probably be around 1530 or something close to that. Look at the tables and whats there already and use other patches as a reference to help you.

You can also refer to my patch as reference. I believe I'm among the first to use 1415 and below with totally new country and tournament, be it league or cups with success. I also make a few unique line in task.txt and setting.txt with higher success. For examples, you can have pool of special team but make only one team appear random or changed with every season. In my case I have fantasy tournament where a few 'other team' were invited, but not every year. But that is just me. At first it was an experiment, but it's fun so it stay in the patch. BTW my patch is not European league so usually it lost in crowd.

He Guys, i've got a question.
A friend of mine made the Dutch Eredivisie, Second Leaque and the Third leaque.
altough hes waiting for the next CM to release, and that's taking way to long tbh..
How did you guys create a patch with this ? my friend would love to know it, so he can release it to :)

He has everyting done, mini faces, kits, rosters..

You cant just explain it in a few words unfortunately, you have to learn the compdata tables, Skeptik in my opinion broke the seal on editing tournaments in this years game so read his post above and follow it and the tables in his patch. When I release you can use my patch for a reference as well.

its not up yet dude, I put the chants up first because its almost 1gb and you need the chants if you get the patch. Stay tuned.

I wasn't clueless about the files. I knew the connections and the meanings but I had doubts regarding the results depending on where the lines were put(what mayhem would arrive from changing the lines) and I wasn't sure about the possibility of adding tournaments to created nations. That's all sorted out. Testing is underway currently. So far I'm doodling around with the Brazilian Serie B tests with the proper formats and all that stuff

So you knew the connections and meanings before you even added anything and tested it. Wow you must be a smart guy.
