I have no idea what to do with commentary. But I do know that it's a different audio format to chants & anthems. The national anthems added to the soundbank are EA3Layer files, but the commentary audio is EASpeex format.
I also really, really want to export the FIFA14 commentary languages for European Portuguese, Hungarian, Czech & Swedish for the RTWC mod. I've also downloaded the Japanese PS3 FIFA16 commentary files, but they don't work ingame.

Great thread, I'd be happy if it was possible to
a) add new commentary names to FIFA14 (e.g. Mbappe, Golovin, Rashford)
b) reassign national anthems (e.g. use Russia's id1357 anthem when team id111008 is playing)
c) reassign team chants (e.g. use Germany's id1337 chants "Deutschland! Deutschland!" when team id111008 is playing)
d) extract fancy commentary lines about World Cup, Champions League, Europa League, Euros from games such as FIFA19, FIFA18 WC DLC, FIFA 12 Euro DLC and import them to FIFA14 to be used in respective tournaments
e) extract team chants from previous games (e.g. I think in FIFA12 Russia had "Rossiya! Rossiya!" chants. but they aren't there in FIFA14)
@valambrosio1 do you think b. and c. are already possible?

I've already extracted all the lines you describe in d from the ones that I could extract from my WC 2010 patch and UEFA EURO 2008 commentary. Note that this commentary is in the old PC format, so I extracted with Sound Master tool by @Rinaldo
I'd also like to export chants and commentary lines from WC2014 & UE2012 (there were Poland NT chants in UE 2012), but I have no idea how to do this.
I saw his videos and he only adds similar sounding names. He doesn't search for playernames codes. We will need someone who can export commentary names & lines from 2014WC commentary soundbanks.
I've found some more info. The .sbs files might be .xma format. I try to extract the .sbs files but I get a "xmath" error in quickbms.

New commentary call names would be amazing! I've only been able to do what Pitico does by assigning similar(ish) sounding call names. Commentary on FIFA 14 has always been really frustrating because Tyler & Smith has better commentary overall but Clydesdale & Townsend actually mention a whole other bunch of names in game like Dembele, Coman, Sokratis
The only new call names that are found in playernames table are the ones from WC2010. The ones in 2014 (those players that have them) are assigned by ID. I've been trying to write to @Rizzaldio to ask if he's made any progress, but I haven't got a response from him since he finished the anthems soundbank. I don't know if he's updated his tools to be able to edit chants/commentary audio.
NB: International matches are always called by Tyldesley & Townsend.

Well you can just also change that in audio settings, personally I use Tyler & Smith for all matches because I find Tyldesley & Townsend annoying. Well and also because I do need to be reminded every time someone scores a header that it's like Alan Smith in his prime

You can't change between the 2 commentator pairs in FIFA16. You can only choose English commentary & that's it.
