hi guys. i'm having a problem with the convertion from fifa14 to fifa16, where the player's neck ends up sticking out of the shirt. I converted 3 faces, and in all of them the same problem happened.

I also had a problem with the "hairlod" file where in the game, players who had face/hair converted go bald.

can anyone help me to solve this? i really liked the tool.

yes,
the FIFA 16 necks are wider then FIFA 14

u need :
* add neck templates to the converter : See info here
OR
* edit the model with blender

make sure the filenames & locations are oke :
sceneassets\hairlod\hairlod_[playerid]_0_0.rx3

or it could be there is a problem with the vertexformat (similar bug to some hair models) :

FIFA 06 & fifa world cup 2006 have the same rx2 format:
and is different then FIFA 07-09 rx2, and not supported by my tool (sorry :) )

1. Fix for switched textures​

it is known that bump textures can be the 2nd texture, coeff 3th:
but it can also be the other way (coeff 2nd, bump 3th),
-> because each texture has a texture name stored in the rx3 file, so the order doesnt matter
(for example balls, shoes, ...)

the old tool version messed this up,
the new version not :
* Exported png/dds files will have the texture name in the filename now
[Rx3FileName].[TextureName].[png/dds]
* Importing them will set the textures correctly !

* Direct 'convert' will also be correct now !

More new advanced options for changing the RGBA channels for a texture :
* Remove a channel: ex. remove green from hair coeff texture
* Equal another channel: ex. edit shoe/glove coeff textures from FIFA 22 to 14
* edit transparancy level: ex. hair color texture
* Maximize

+ now Dds support !

(Even after disabling update vertex format it didn‘t work)

Roughly what are the numbers here? (from 15 & 16, to 11)
for example,
if u want move a head from FIFA 14 to 11 :
Move_Y = -2,96
Move_Z = 0,15


note that the values are not the same as from the blender rx3 plugin:
because blender axis is different + a scaling by 100 is used !

Code:
X = X_blender * 100
Y = Z_blender * 100
Z = -Y_blender * 100

there is a X- (for x negative values) and a X+ (for x positive values) :
this is needed,
for example shoes : if u want to move the left and right shoes more closer or away from each other

any plans to add NeckTemplates from 14 to 16? i tried to make by your advice, creating the folder, but didn't worked at all.

Thanks! I tried to replace the textures from the FIFA14 wipes but it still doesn't work, crashes ingame. the Rx3 with the new files is much bigger. I have tried every combination of DDS export so that the files weigh when the original but when I import (DDS) the file is smaller than 2kb and crashes. Some time ago I sent you various tests with wrong files with various types of conversion. At the moment, if a solution were found, this tool would be the only solution to be able to re-edit the Wipes on FIFA14. We have been stuck for over a year. Thanks again :)

yes,
the FIFA 16 necks are wider then FIFA 14

u need :
* add neck templates to the converter : See info here
OR
* edit the model with blender

I have edited on blender and it worked, thanks for the help!
make sure the filenames & locations are oke :
sceneassets\hairlod\hairlod_[playerid]_0_0.rx3

or it could be there is a problem with the vertexformat (similar bug to some hair models) :

but with the hairlod i have no sucess until now. i tried to convert with other options selected, but not worked. and i revised the names and the file locations... it's sad because the faces are amazingly converted.

Hi Tokke! I converted faces from FIFA 14 to FIFA 16 and used the Y-axis movement option for head, hair, hairlod with value of -0.7 or -0.8.

This helped fix the neck bug for many faces.

Is it possible to automate this for all files (head, hair, hairlod)?
