FIFA 07 rx2 kit files are 10FB compressed: use filemaster11 to export the files (from .big) correctly


there are some errors wich will be fixed at next version :
- General (Tool)

* Fix: error "cannot access a closed file" for (some) compressed files --> u can bypass this error by using filemaster11
- Textures > Convert
* Fix: error when converting kits rx2 (FIFA 07-09), rx3 (FIFA 11) to FIFA 12-16

So I downloaded the archive from your link, extracted Bale hair from the pack but it wouldn't open with rx3Master. Ran it through the convertor tool F11 - F14, the model converted and gets loaded by CM15

the texture conversion by the tool resulted in an error, however it can be loaded by CM15 though strangely enough the second texture inside the container is just black:


I guess I might need to decompress the files as you mention in your post but unfortunately I have no experience with decompression.

Here are the exported files from the FO pack. Would really appreciate it if someone could help advance them towards being used in F14!

yes, that faces from "FIFA Online 3 (Old FIFA 11 engine)" are formats similar to FIFA 11 :
u ll need make conversions, the rx3 files wont work directly at newer games...

you are missing the haircolour file ?
at FO3 (similar to FIFA 11) there are 2 hair textures files :
* hair_173731_0_0_textures.rx3 --> coeff RGB texture
* haircolour_173731_0_0_0_0_textures.rx3 --> haircolour file (i think what u missed)

so,
* at FO3/FIFA11 there are 2 rx3 hair-texture files (with each one texture)
* at FIFA 12 (or later) there is 1 rx3 hair-texture file (with the 2 textures)
--> solution :
at my converter > TEXTURES > Combine/Split :

-> FO3/F11 to FIFA 15 : use "Combine"
-> FIFA 15 to FO3/F11 : use "Split"

decompressing files can be done with the converter :
OTHER > decompress

but normally, the tool automaticly decompress when u export/convert/ ....

It's having a problem updating the rx3 file (Null Instance means nothing was imported as the values will be null) and displaying it in CM. Maybe converted rx3 can't be loaded or the file is not converted properly. Also, can you translate the upper part of the error?

@tokke001, do you know why converting from FIFA 16 (it's probably Dmitri ones from 22 to 16, but I'm not sure) to FIFA 15 cause making them normally in CM

I think the positioning of the head is wrongly done when the tool converts from/to fifa 15,
Someone else mentioned the same problem :
Head is too high, too deep or something...

The cm15 jersey model isnt same as ingame maybe (why it looks oke at cm15) ?

I'm facing similar texture color issue when converting F11 hair texture to F14 format via the Combine Files feature of the tool with F14 set as the output.

Expected outcome:

V2.fi | Arvostelu | FIFA 11


Has anyone converted F11 hair/faces to F14 successfully with the tool?


Lastly, @tokke001 is there any way to scale/set maximum dimensions to converted models?
Some of the boots converted to F14 from F16 (and presumably newer titles) are significantly larger than the default ones, here is a comparison:

@tokke001 Hi, this have probably been asked and answered a million times over already...but is there any chance at all it would be possible to implement a function in the tool that converts the models (mesh) from FO3/FO4 - Switch to a more 'common' 3d model format like .obj or i guess the dream would be if .fbx was doable.

Finding scripts//plugin that even want to touch .rx3 is like search after a needle in a haystack. I understand fully that this is a complete shot in the dark, but never hurt to ask. Or if nothing else, if something could be done where the ICONs from FO3/FO4/SWITCH that aren't in the Frostbite Era got converted, textures is easy enough to strip out so it is just the head/hair models.
