Generally, tools like this edit the database so it's just like Creation Master, every change on it makes the career and the tournament saves crash, that's why you have always to keep a backup of the original files, I hope in the following months we'll get a tool like Internal Master and Manager Master so we'll be able to edit the saves and maybe to update the carrer saves just like the ones who were released for FIFA 10, Manager Master also had an option to update the saves with the edited database

but the revolution mod will not make saves crash
why not use the principle of revolution mod to make the tool?

It depends what you want to change. Importing faces, boot, kits, adboards, scoreboards did not crash on CM12+revolution mod

well, we have to find all the equivalents of the tables with the revolution mod, it may be very difficult to make everything with that so database editing is the only way, that's how we use to work, but I let the choice of course for the author, he's the one who knows what to do
