Keepers will react differently. Penalty kicks are more variable than before, just now I took a penalty kick and the keeper saved it, the ball hit the crossbar and came back out! Or, the keeper dived the right way and juuuust missed it. It looks much prettier than ever before.

When i get a break with the likes of rooney or van nistelrooy, im caught from behind by some teams defender that I'm playing in the qualifing round of the Champions league. Those are the only two things i can think of that are lacking in your gameplay. Other than that, great work.
Is it possible to see either of these two things resolved in the next release?

EA SPORTS should feel inspired !
Thank u for all your brilliant work Nick. I just hope that EA SPORTS...will be inspired by your gameplay in the next WC fifa. Maybe it's a stupid question, but are you going to send it to them ? Your gameplay is perfect as it is, I have just added to your ai ini file 2 lines found on fifacittiu to modify the scales of the players. I have also one question : does your patch enable CPU substitutions (Ive been playing 5 games in 2*6 minutes and can't remember a CPU substitution) ? Or is there any value to modify into ai ini to enable them ? Anyway, can't wait for your next release, I wonder what you can improve !

Thank you for the compliments. The CPU does indeed make substitutions, sometimes without a cut scene, but the commentator will mention it.
I believe the game is far more balanced now, there's still tweaking here and there to be done but it's looking like a winner. I'm prefering the gameplay already to my released update.
Check out my latest results, where I just lost 1-0. I may release a video of me against the CPU soon.

The truth is that now Fifa 06 has a little scenes of the real meaning of gameplay, I mean how come a full team of EA employees of more than 100 positions can't even get the game right from the beginning? This means that they are sitting on their chairs for the fun of it, and they forget about what do real gamers want from games! I really want someone who lives close enough to the working station of EA company to pay them a visit and tell them that they really suck when it comes to finishing the whole package of the game... They do good graphics, they do great data bases, but at the end they just speed up the process by modifying the gameplay as careless as possible...

due to some problems the first video is around 28mb and the 2nd will be around 35mb, these are the 1st and 2nd halfs of the match. I originally intended one, complete download movie but the file size was much too high. So two seperate downloads seems more sensible.

I've just watched the first half. I am very impressed by the pressing of the midfield players and the way CPU defends (and counterattacks !) as a team. I found also that the best players (Ronaldinho, Beckham...) seem even more realistic when the difficulty of the gameplay is increasing. Yes, that's definitively what we want ! Can't wait for your update, do we have a chance to get it this week ?

Mr.sa33od, I used FRAPS to record. It does the trick! Then I used Windows Movie Maker to import it all and put it into a sensible movie size for you to download, otherwise you're looking at downloading an extremely good quality movie that weighs in around 3+ gig. Haha.
