There are two ways to deal with these issues within the game. I do not consider them cheating but some might :)

REDUCE NEXT SEASON OBJECTIVES
  1. At the end of the season put all of your weakest overall rated players in the starting 11
  2. End the season
  3. At the beginning of the season, your objective would be lower
    For example, if you are in the Premier League and your main team are around 80+ rated and your weakest overall players are youth players around 60+. Instead of getting Win the League you might get Avoid Relegation
    NOTE:
    You can also do this at the beginning of the career mode season by putting all the youth players as starting players and starting with Custom squads. I do this sometimes when starting a career with a team I want to manage for a number of years, bring in some top youth players (buy or scout) without focusing on winning every Tournament I play in.
KEEP PREVIOUS SEASON PRIZE MONEY
Seeing as previous versions as well as later versions of FIFA added an option to carry over the prize money to the next season, I do not consider this cheating.
  1. Just before the season ends. Go to the Finances tab.
  2. Allocate all money to wages so you have 0m in the Transfer budget.
  3. End the season.
  4. At the beginning of the next season, you will keep all of your prize money from that season + whatever transfer budget they give you at the beginning of the season.
This works up to around 1 billion.

There are some stories, but really important news are missing frequently.I am type of gamer who loves to enjoy each and every moment of this game. So these type of issues create irritation. However what you are doing for this game is impressive.

when it comes to saving last years transfer budjeet, i aslo cheats the game.My technique is bit different. I wil slide the wages to maximum and offers a player that i don't want in my team next year with a lucrative deal and then sells him immediately in the next season.

I can certainly help you with the new celebration photos in newsfeeds.But , for that you have to help find the ids of the files and where to put it.

Damn, I didn't know I can do this. :D I will be a transfer monster if I decide to take on Real Madrid. No UEFA financial fairplay rules would touch me, haha... :D
I wonder why Man City haven't figured this out before they got banned... :brow:

The Icons team is not a 'team'. It is a placeholder for those players.

Yeah, I know that other method. That method brings in LOTS of money hence why you get fired in FIFA 20 for doing it. That is proper cheating :D
The news story items are a little complicated to explain. There are three sets of emotions - neutral (0), happy (1) and unhappy (2). There are also up to 30 variations of each. So that is up to 60 images per team. Although most teams only use around 8-11 per emotion.
The image dimensions are also not easy to explain without a visual.
Take a look here - FIFA 14/Game/data1.big
Open up the big and navigate to this folder: data/ui/imgassets/cmnews
Let me know what you think.

A small update on mod progress.

TOURNAMENT MANAGER
Introducing the new software that will be supplied with the full release. I will go into full detail of what you can do with this software on release but in brief, you will be able to make some adjustments to the competition structure for both Career mode and Tournament mode.
As well as being able to choose to edit competitions in Career mode, you will be able to activate the additional leagues.
In Tournament mode, you will be able to play various competitions like the World Cup, Euros, Champions League and more.
You will also have additional options in the Champions League. Including an option to play the entire competition from Prelims through to the Final. So if you fancy taking the Lincoln Red Imps to Champions League glory, this is the mode for you.

UPDATE - 01/03/2020 (UPDATE 2)
I thought I'd give you guys a bonus update. With thanks to AdioszPL and his excellent work on FIFA 20 boot models, I will soon be able to update a number of the boot models for FIFA 14. It has taken a long time to find anyone who would send me any boot textures or give any help really, so I am beyond grateful for this.

Are you able to edit boot models? These textures will require changes to the boot models and also some changes to the textures themselves - IE addition of laces in some cases.
