FIFA Infinity Patch 14 (HBZ Mod 19/20 Edition)

I was curious why often people reporting crashes with certain teams. I tested Toulouse and QPR that were reported crashing the game and.... didn't get any crash. Why? Because I don't mess with the files if I'm not sure it won't cause a crash. We play the same mode, same data, same graphics. I'm playing 2.11, still no crash (I tested Napoli's career for two seasons). Search players? - be my guest, no problem. Maybe many of you play 2.12, but I'm curious to know if anyone experienced crash with thise two teams.
I found one bug though in QPR. Someone's had a nightmare visiting the barber shop:

I'm not sure it's the guy on the kick off, because when the game starts, this hair still hangs there.

Haha Yes, it is the 'joys' of supplying mods. People using the same files but having different problems. I can confirm that I don't get crashes too, but of course, as you can see there are issues with those teams that will cause a crash on some people's computers. Especially in career mode which loads a few more graphics than regular kick-off.

I will find the player and give him a hair cut.

Continue-ing with my Career Mode with River Plate:

1) As other people reported, teams like River or Flamengo, are simultaneously in Libertadores and Sudamericana cups. To be said, i had a match of Libertadores and the next day, a match of Sudamericana.
2) Reach World Cup tournament, played against Liverpool. No crashes to report.
3) On the same season, i was fired (bad results), then i choose Trapani Calcio. It crashed when loading Manager main menu (maybe another random crash). After that, i loaded the same career, continue playing River, and there weren't any crashes as far as season 2024.
4) Players positions: players like De la Cruz or Ferreira are offensive midfielders (like Quintero). I know i can fix it by myself (it's easy) but i think is fair that you as mod creator should know something like that.
5) I find the game more difficult with AI more aggressive trying to recover the ball.
6) I used another scout.ini file from another mod that makes more easy to have 5 stars scouters. No crash.
7) Haven't tried search mode. I'll give it a try later today and see what happens.

I don't know if someone ever said this but i find that there is a 5th English League as Leasing Trophy (or something like that). I have no idea if this the 5th tier of English football or a glitch. Didn't pay much attention but i think that there are teams from other tier (League One, League Two).

As you know i moddified player's stats and created one player.

if i win UCL i have right to play club world cup, but only i can play the first leg semifinal. If i win the first game, can´t play the final game...because the next EPL game and the club world game are programed for the same date..and obviously only can play EPL game, the WC final never "happens" but if i see the WC stage i can see that game was played.

Scoreboards are easy to create Harry, i actually updated the Bundesliga, EPL, Ligue 1 and Serie A scoreboardS to my liking, but i can't post them bc it's essentially derevitive work.
I'm working on a proper FIFA 20 scoreboard both kickoff and FUT version not from scratch though.
You just need Photoshop or Gimp.

The most challenging(painful) part is defining the overlay positions and font with HexEditor.
Changing the colour is easy.

The game isn't structured in the way you are explaining so this is very strange.
The Club World Cup happens a year before the World Cup so there shouldn't be any clash with that competition.
The EPL doesn't start until August so that shouldn't clash either.
Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing?

I imagine that scoreboards are pretty straight forward once you know what to do. I don't see why you couldn't post them. Everyone would prefer better scoreboards even if you've just improved on what someone else has done. You just need to give them the proper credit.
I wouldn't mind knowing how to make scoreboards and pop-ups if you could explain or point me in the direction of a tutorial or something?

Immagino che i tabelloni segnapunti siano piuttosto semplici una volta che sai cosa fare. Non vedo perché non potresti pubblicarli. Tutti preferirebbero punteggi migliori anche se hai appena migliorato ciò che qualcun altro ha fatto. Devi solo dare loro il credito giusto.
Non mi dispiacerebbe saper fare tabelloni e pop-up se potessi spiegarmi o indicarmi la direzione di un tutorial o qualcosa del genere? [/ PREVENTIVO]

Image 1 : you can see the 1 leg semifinal played win against Beijing S ( DEC 22).....the next game in calendar is against Everton (DEC 26)...not the 2 leg winner (Gremio)...
Image 2 : You can see DEC 27 with game against Everton played....not the WC club final
Image 3 : you can see the WC board, and you´ll see that game "played" against Gremio....but that game was simulated

Insist only happens with England teams....i played with German team and i play semifinal and final without problems.

Random crashes can happen so I'm not majorly concerned. If you do come across any crashes that happen more than once let me know. Keep the save.

Ah ok. I understand now. The only problem is that it doesn't look like you are using my mod. I do not have that format for the Club World Cup in FIP14.

Remember that Moddingway and FIP14 are two different mods. You can use some (not all) graphics from one mod and the other but the db, loc and dlc folders must ENTIRELY be from one of those mods - do not combine them unless you really know what you are doing. If you want to play with FIP14 database you must use Version Manager to load the latest database.

I haven't seen this before but have used the matrix system before. I'll have a look at it. I'm not promising I will add any gameplay mods in the future. Simply because I think these things are more of a preference of the individual than a guaranteed improvement. There are lots of gameplay mods available too. PLUS modding is taking up way too much of my personal time.

I will do. ! have updated the starting line-ups for now. There is a possibility that a mod will be released with improved Russian teams and the 2nd division too. A Russian team called TEKR asked if they could add it. If they do it I'll release at some point.

That's great news. Given how EA totally showed the middle finger to their Russian playerbase when losing the license to Konami, and in fact have been neglecting it forever (never adding a single stadium until very recently) these mods are the perfect response.

I get asked about gameplay a lot but I haven't done anything to it. It is the default gameplay.
What it sounds like though is you have applied the 'F14 beta990 Difficulty Mod'. Difficulty mod is a massive over simplification of what it does but that file can be found here: FIFA 14\Game\rna.ini

Interesting. I didn't apply any gameplay mods specifically, only unpacked the archives, chose the needed DB and tournaments.

These newer stadiums will be released in Stadium Pack 2 with a large number of other stadiums.

Great. Speaking of stadiums, is there any way to assign Ataturk Istambul stadium as the final venue for 2019-20 UCL?
I just finished my Liverpool run in tournament mode and the final game was at Anfield, which was kind of anticlimactic.
I looked up RM documentation and found identifyTournamentFinalStadium(tournamentassetid,stadiumid) but as the description suggests looks like it only affects a certain stadium's graphics if it's already set as the final venue ("This will identify this stadium as the venue of the final of a tournament, any games held here in the tournament will use assigned final graphics").
I know when creating a custom stadium there's a Final Stadium selection option. Would be great if the already preset UCL 19-20 tournament had an assigned Ataturk final venue as well.

Yes, always happy to update things like this. I never seem to find the time to look through the various forums when I'm building a mod so updates and improvements like this only happen when I'm doing that specific thing.

Yeah I can imagine
But it would really be awesome to start with Neymar in Santos and Neuer in Schalke and see where things go in an alternative 2020. Personally of course I'd be most interested in authentic kits, boots and balls for each season, nostalgia moments as well.
Just a thought, maybe the first beta versions could be "manual" meaning that the "sceneassets 13-14" folder would have to be renamed to "sceneassets" for it to work, and later on maybe a fancy selector could be implemented like those you have for db/tournament selection.
