PLAYER IDs IN FIP14 v8 ARE CHANGING

• Previously non-EA ID players were given an ID in the range 54,100-99,999.
• EA are now using IDs in this range.
• FIP14/16 will use ID range 400,000-500,000.
• All players with IDs in the previous range have been moved to the new range.

The good news about this new range is I have agreed with scouser09 that we won't overwrite any IDs for a while. So rest assured you won't have to change any assets in the future.

Attached is a list of ID changes. Use this list to change player IDs for assets you've added to previous FIP mods like faces.

I'm glad to release today the second version of the BETA. This will be the final BETA release. I'm especially happy with this release as it represents the earliest release of FIP14 to date. It's one of the most stable Career mode mods that have been released for FIFA 14, and I have enjoyed creating it.

Thank you for the feedback, especially those who tested multiple seasons and leagues in Career mode. I'll add you to the credits list for the full release. Please continue to test and leave feedback. I will begin working on the full release very soon, for now, please enjoy the mod.

Understanding ALP (All leagues playable) this season
The ALP version was only created so users could play some additional leagues not available in FIFA 14 when released in 2013. The ALP version is not a great experience because it removes some manager mode functionality such as objectives.

ALP versions should have been used as below.
Scenario 1
As an Arsenal fan, my main career mode will be played with them. There is no reason why I would choose to select the ALP version for this team as the Premier League was in FIFA 14.
Scenario 2
If I wanted to play with a Turkish league team I would have to choose the ALP version as they are not a FIFA 14 default league and career mode would not load without it.

I have decided to remove the ALP version as an option to select in Version Manager from this season.

Instead, I will replace it with a simple .bat script that will alter the files required to activate or deactivate the ALP version. This takes the stress off of me for having to handle multiple DB's and puts the choice in the users' hands.

In Version Manager, I will write which leagues will require this script to be activated. If the league isn't mentioned for that DB, then you should ensure the deactivate script is selected.

EA Sports FC25 Beta DB converted for testing. There is nothing wild to report in terms of new teams. Olympiacos and Qarabag are in the DB. I haven't seen the compdata yet so I'm not sure how they have structured the NEW format UEFA club competition with such few teams. Maybe more UEFA teams will be added!?!

No, not possible. The only reason I use CM16 is that scouser09 (who creates FIP16) and I use the same db. I then convert to F14 format later.
