Apologies again for the long delayed replies. Here is a quick update about the status of this patch.

There will be one final 19/20 season version of this patch, to be released soon.

A 20/21 season version is planned. It will be based on material converted from FIFA 21, therefore development will not be able to fully start until October. As always, I will not estimate a release date.




Edit the compdata, you should be able to do so with CM16.

Check your edits to bootlist.txt carefully, make sure the fields are separated by tabs.




There is an intention to make one final 19/20 season version.




The bald players issue is because the squads are converted from FIFA 20. EA forgot to assign generic hair parts for them, it was not noticeable as they have real heads in FIFA 20. You can fix it in CM16, or add real faces instead if you have them.




I would assume it can be fixed, but I am unsure of the exact source of the problem.




I do not believe it is possible to do this.




For a while, faces where purposely excluded to keep the patch stable. Faces converted from newer FIFAs would often crash for some users but not others. A solution only became common knowledge around last November.

In order to ensure we have permission and are able to give credit for all faces included, a face pack for the patch would need to be compiled from scratch. I have preferred to focus on other things, no one else has offered to compile one so far.

Someone did send me a large stadium pack for the patch, but I have not yet added it as it needs some preparation first.




I am not planning to restore them.

Replace them with a ball of your choice.




Try removing his "high club identification" trait and any Messi references in the "player_grudgelove" table.




I will test this when I have time.




Try removing any squad files, your game may be reading one instead of your modified DB.




I do not believe this is possible for FIFA 16.

I guess its harder to make compdata and all that kind of stuff so it could be compatatbile with 21 db than last year because many new added custom leagues (Cyprus, Ukraine).

Just to reiterate, the patch is still progressing even if I go long periods without posting.

I will give a little information about V4.0. As well as teams and leagues from FIFA 21, our priority for the next version is to keep and update the following leagues for the next release. To do this, the patch team must manually update three extra leagues compared to last year due to EA losing licenses meaning it is a bigger project.

* May not receive a full kit update in next version.

Some additional leagues and teams are expected to be included, but may not be updated in the next version. There is also expected to be at least one new league.

As always, I will not estimate a release date.

will ghana be included in the next update?

I think FIP14 will include those teams, I plan to include them in FIP16 if so.

if I create 2 young players, 16 years old, how can I set for example that during the career the first player will become a superstar and the second will become an average player?

Can anyone please tell me what the maximum of NT national teams work in FIFA 16 career mode?

I seem to recall reading it was about 90, but I have never tested to confirm a limit. Cups have a 92 team limit so that would be my best guess.

Hi guys! I have installed FIFA Infinity Patch 2.0 right now. Should I install a clean fifa first, before installing the latest patch in the order: v. 3.0 + v. 3.1 + v. 3.2, or can I install them directly on the fifa with v. 2.0? Thanks a lot for your help in advance!

V3.0 and updates should be added to a clean install. I will also recommend a clean install for the upcoming V4.0.

Another problem: all the names of the new teams are missing and they look like on the attached photo. Changing it in the Creation Master doesn’t help. I tried to use Language DB Fix from the game’s installation folder (like it’s recommended in the Infinity Patch “read me” file) but it crashed every time with the notification “Can’t find file: C\Windows\system32\locate.big”. I will be grateful for any suggestions what could be of help to solve this problem.

Either delete the language DBs in locale.big yourself using File Master, or use this version.

Considering this is a common issue for users, in future versions I will include the patched locale.big instead to avoid issues. I have avoided doing this so far as I was under the impression the included file locale.ini varies by region, I now have doubts about this.

Hello, when I check on CM 16 top teams like Real madrid, fc bayern have 10/10 reputation instead of 20/20. Is this intentional? Also some teams in rest of world have 20 reputation. Is there a way to fix this quickly?

The database is imported from FIFA 21, where the team reputations go from 1 to 10, as opposed to the way it was in FIFA 16, 1 to 20, the rest of world teams that have it at 20 are not taken from EA's FIFA 21 db. Only one way to fix it, change them all yourself.

For last year's edition I added a few hundred alternate kits and it worked just fine, not sure about the stadiums though. What broke the db for me was the fact that I stupidly changed the name of some teams.

Is there someone who can tell me why the UEFA referee kits doesn't show up in game? For example, when it's Bayern Munich - Liverpool it show the Bundesliga referee kits.

You have to past the team that you changed with Leeds back in the championship.
