FIFA Infinity Patch 16 V7.2 (23/24 Edition)

Release notes:

This is the final 21/22 season version. I now intend to take a much needed development break. I intend to continue this patch next season.

I acknowledge that some planned updates and other features where not completed. I decided to development earlier than previous years to be able to start next seasons project early, hopefully leading to the first release being comparatively quicker than this season.

Before someone asks, I have no intention of making and sharing a DB with the latest transfers during the next few months. I will wait for the FIFA 23 DB for this.

I really should have elaborated on some some of the Edited CM16 features when it was released.

-Set face type for all players based on user’s collection via menu function.
This is similar and much simpler alternative to the set face type script I shared some time ago. Applying this function will prevent faces converted from newer FIFAs from crashing your game in many cases.

-Entries in playernames table with IDs over 28999 added to dcplayernames table when saving.
This will fix the missing names in-game issue many people who have added new players to the FIP16 DB have experienced. In FIFA 16, player names with IDs 0-28999 are read from the playernames table and IDs 29000-32767 are read from the dcplayernames table. The original CM16 only edited the playernames table. By the way, I believe that 32767 is a hard upper limit and can not be increased by expanding the DB.

-Fixed "advance_teamcompdependency" bug.
The bug was that CM16 did not update the line reference of "advance_teamcompdependency" settings when needed. This setting is used in settings.txt to exclude teams qualified to another tournament. In FIP16 this setting links UEFA EL to UEFA CL and also Copa Sudamericana to Copa Libertadores to prevent teams filling to both competitions. An incorrect value leads to teams being added to both competitions and will lead to draw failure if a team appears twice in a stage. Some people may remember this issue with Copa Sudamericana in some older versions of this patch.

Hey gaffer @scouser09, is it possible to add new version which include FIFA 22 original league (with J-League, ISL, Liga 1, etc?)

It would be possible, but I am not planning to do this.


Am I the only who has problems with imported textures? For example, when I Install a new kit texture, and try to save it, the CM16 crashes and does not save..

Can you give more information about this? If there was an error message, can you screenshot it including the stack trace? This worked fine for me when I tested it.


Is there a Rest of World team limit? I can't play against a team at Rest of World.

Why aren't updated boots added in the patch?

A pack was not complied.


When I try to add new boots to bootlist the boot manager won't start. Common problem?

*Edit* Seems like the text/values has to be seperated by "tabs". You learn something new every day I guess!

The delimiters are tabs, it makes it easier to edit the data in Excel.

nothing dude it just stays in training mode when i enter the game and won't enter the game
 
Hi is there a version you can choose with all the icons/legends? There’s a classic team, but I also found Shearer and Larson in the World 11 team when choosing the basic version. Thanks
 
I found a small problem with the new theme of FIP5.2. I didn't respond when I selected Skill Games, because there was a small error in the mainhubcfg file in the layout folder. I could enter the menu after modifying it.

In order to make fip 5.2's beautiful new theme look more uniform, I modified these areas slightly and made a color matching icon.

Since you are really an expert with that kind of files editing, may I ask if you think it should be possible to display the tournement name or id at the kickoffhub screen? That's the screen where we can read the stadium name, the weather, the time and referee.
I ask because I would love to modify my stadium, which relies on the infromation displayed at the kickoffhub, to make it also a scoreboard server.
