The WC mini-face dds files are in a different location than the default dds files. Are you looking in the correct place?

Yes, I searched in both places.
For example, Paolo Guerrero appears in the game with his real face (GCFE-> Legacy Files-> Data-> db-> fifa_world_cup_db-> players (player ID: 150525) but nevertheless he does not appear with his real photo (GCFE-> Legacy Files-> Data-> ui-> imgAssets-> heads or heads_wc (it's not ID: 150525) Since it does not appear in imgAssets, I can not put its photo with its real face and a silhouette appears.
The same is wrong, but I imagine that the IDs are configured in the game so that they appear together with the photo. If the ID has a photo, it can be changed (for example, to put my photo, or that of another player, and create a generic face of the ID) and if the ID does not have a photo then a silhouette will always appear.

EA used different ID codes in the WC update. I learned this when I was adding commentary names to the WC update. Did you check his player ID code in the WC db? Because it may not be the same as the player ID code EA used in the default db.

That is probably it, yes.
Like I said, find a generic-looking youth head and replace the silhouette with that. that's what I did. Medium skin, brown hair medium length, not to ugly and not too pretty, someone who looks like he could kind of represent every player lol.
Yes, that is a very good option to create players who do not exist and who have no real face. For example put my photo or that of a player legend, like Batistuta.
On the other hand, having some players with a silhouette is not a problem either when playing with their real faces. It was only to know all the things that can be modified with this tool.

That's like me, I edit stuff to try and find out how it all works. A lot of it I don't even use, I just need to know!
I only replaced mini-faces using the IDs in CGFE. That's all I know. Don't think we can add to CGFE, we can only edit what is there already. So no adding IDs I think.
Just letting you know... I knew there were 1000+ players in the WC db Free Agents. I just took a look, and almost all of them are copies of the players who are already in the game?! I told you EA changed the commentary name IDs in the WC db. It could be they did something equally weird with player IDs.
If you find a player in the WC db who has a silhouette, try switching that player with his other copy that is in the Free Agents list. See if his mini-face then shows up. You do that in the teamplayerlinks table. The Free Agent team ID is 111592.

You've been here three years so you know changes to the db mean starting your career over.
So that's one part of it.But graphics edits in CGFE carry over from what I can tell. So if kits, signboards etc. are updated, those new additions should show up in your current career. Very easy to test. Open CGFE, change your team's kit, then load and continue your career and see if the new kit shows up. Let us know if it works.

My Problem is that the fans in the crowd all have white Shirts! Do you know this Problem? And what to do?
I installed die FIP 3.0 right after the release and started a career and I think then i did not have the Problem, but now I had a small break, started a new career with QPR and all the fans have white shirts :/

You're the only one who's complained they can't import the patch. Safe to say the patch isn't the problem.Will be there working version of FIP for update7? Currently can't import patch via CGFE

I'm going to ignore that bouncing banana response for now and assume that English isn't your first language. You linked to a post of someone who had CGFE crash issues. And I answered and helped him fix the issue. It takes 10 seconds to fix. I can rename and delete those two folders in, literally, 10 seconds and then the problem is fixed. Read the answers that were given. The crash issues have to do with CGFE, not the mod.

No, but you can keep the V3 and play your started career mode. Then you can select the V4 in CGFE if you want to play with the updated content.

That's because "Update 7" is not the original FIFA 18, it's the cracked version. In the installation instructions it says specifically: "It is recommended that you use a clean install of FIFA 18 with the latest update installed via Origin for this patch". But it seems that people doesn't want to take the time to read the instructions...
And I don't know if I will release a version compatible with that FIFA 18 version, because I don't support piracy and also it will take some time to adapt the patch to an older FIFA update.
My recommendation is: go to Origin and get an original copy of FIFA 18 for only 15 dollars.
Please don't. It's a slap in the face to people who buy legit copies. People who pirate games deserve nothing, and especially people who waste our damn time on this forum because they're too lazy to read thread posts and install instructions.
