But a lot will change in the near future. I'm heading off to college in 2 months, and I have no clue if I'll have the hardware to play and mod on, much less if I'll have the time to do it all.

That being said, I'm sending a message. This mod, in terms of functionality, is complete.
It remains to update the lineups, at this point I am making it clear.

I don't want to sound tactless, but I can no longer cope with it myself. The enthusiasm I had 3-4 years ago has largely subsided. I no longer want to do mods that require annual updates. Admittedly, this one could be done every 2 years, but I can no longer manage it myself.

Unless someone can be found who, not just by word of mouth, but seriously helps me deal with this mod from the technical side, it is possible that I will abandon it.

However, this does not mean that I want to end it all. I liked the concept of theme mods. I also came up with the idea of "license patches" for each FIFA, which would simply patch the licenses.
I can do it in 2 months or in 5 years, it doesn't matter here.

I have to get money for a new computer, I have to learn to live on my own. So I hope that by November, I'll be able to patch it up and enjoy the 2022 World Cup on virtual pitches and that other stuff won't bother me nor you.

I think many of us oldtimers can relate.

I came to soccergaming when I started university too (fifa 11), and since then I've changed laptops, PCs, apartments, cities and even countries, but if there is passion for modding, it still remains.
Everything will be alright ;)

I updated my database to the latest players' data (26th of July, 9th of August didn't change anything)
I also restructured it a bit, so now it leaves space for 3000 unique entries that you can use.

At this moment, I'm going to handle tournaments. However, COVID-19 pandemic heavily messed around these tournaments, especially their dates.

What I am sure that I will include:

FIFA World Cup 2022
FIFA Arab Cup 2021
UEFA EURO 2020
Copa America 2021
Africa Cup of Nations 2021
UEFA Nations League
CONCACAF Nations League
6 different Roads to World Cup - each one with full qualifier campaign.
Classic World Cup and UEFA EURO
OFC Nations Cup 2020(ad. even if cancelled, I don't have much choice with Oceania)

I decided to be authentic groups and schedules mainly. Ones with random draw will be in a seperate dlc folder. "dlc" folder is hot-swappable, so it shouldn't be that big issue.

However I have 2 problems. The one is Asia. The last Asian Cup was in 2019, so pretty long time ago. For Asian Cup 2023 we already know all qualified teams, but draws, pots or even the host remain unknown. So if I decide to put Asian Cup 2023 it will be random only - for obvious reasons.

Second are continental tournaments qualifiers. They're problematic to me. In Europe it's clear, but African AFCON and North American Gold Cup occur every two years, so they already started another qualifier campaigns. In Asia the situation was already described.

What I want to know from you is that you want Asian Cup 2019 or random Asian Cup 2023 and if I should do qualifiers for AFCON and Gold Cup 2021 or 2023 and if you need other qualifiers than World Cup ones at all.

as per my opinion , i would love if you release Asian Cup 2019 and when Asian Cup 2023 comes out maybe you can make a dlc or update for that

Really appreciate all your efforts...

I think an up-to-date 2023 Asian Cup is the option I'd prefer to go with, the random factors here are not that crucial for me compared with getting a 3 years old version of the tournament, but in the case of AFCON and Gold Cup having the 2021ish one is still somehow new so it wouldn't be that much of a problem I guess...

Either ways I'd be happy with the final product, thank you.
