no way can this Latino player be Mexican, they never get tranfered to Europe. :p Theres only 3 in Europe.

So its either an Argentine or a Brazilian. And the lead is more than likely gonna be Gael Garcia (a Mexican) who stars in 2 of the best Mexican movies ever made: Y Tu Mama Tambien and Amores Perros.

First Film
It is understood that Nike-endorsed Manchester United and Adidas-endorsed Newcastle United are the two clubs vying to star as the Premiership club the Latino player joins.

Second Film
Depending which apparel company wins out, the player will then switch to Adidas's Real Madrid or Nike's Barcelona

Final Film
he will represent his home nation at the World Cup, either Argentina, who wear Adidas kit or Brazil, who sport Nike.

I hope Gael Garcia gets the lead role, he's a really good actor.

i've heard that Gael Garcia is an ok soccer player, they have clips of him playing in the DVD of "Y Tu Mama Tambien"

lets just hope its realistic and not silly looking ... like most footy films are

like the main guy dribbling awkwardly past other guys who just stand there and stick out a leg or fall over once the player's past him :rolleyes:
that's anoying. Surely they can produce something cool.

Hope ADIDAS win the plot .. then this geezer will be a Argetine Geordie lol :p

Yeah I hope Adidas wins too - it'll give the series more credibility. A player leaving Manchester United for Barcelona just won't do.:D:p









My two cents - the movie is already predictable for me. He goes to England, performs brilliantly, saves his side from the brink of many defeats, wins cups for them, then goes to Spain. Gets a national call-up somewhere along the line, wins trophies for his club with great performances, and then wins the World Cup in the final installment. Meh. I'll be ecstatic if I'm wrong, but most sports movies go this way - the good guy always wins.

yeah they should make the movie like this :

goes to England plays for Newcastle ... is crap goes to Gillingham ... but only scores 2 goals all season .. so is transfered to Forest Green Rovers... breaks his leg after 5 games... goes back to Mexico, Argentina the end

it would be Argentina. Cuz if he was Mexican it would go like this:

Debuts when hes 22, begins to play really good...because of his money hungry mexican club he doesnt get transfered to Europe...end of story.

I could pass for a Mexican, my Spanish is great, I can play football, and im an awesome actor (H) It would also be more realistic if he started at like 16 or 17 :p And then he gets to **** all these hot chicks in the movie :wootman:

They should choose me :(
