diggi 10, obviously youve got a problem with Shaft, so instead of telling other people to ignore him, why not take your own advice and ignore him yourself. Now if you really really have a problem and you can't ignore him then im sorry but you might have a bigger problem then just him. But yea just ignore the person if you don't belive in what they say and if you can't just stop posting all together. I know easier said than done but just try and stop making yourself look more and more foolish with every post.

Perhaps ...
1) He was Never breast fed, as a child.
2) He was never given the Attention that he needed, as a child.
3) He was probably bullied at school, on a regular basis. :hit:
4) The only thing that means anything to him in life, is his beloved WE/8LWE.

Flange ... =

A protruding rim, edge, rib, or collar, as on a wheel or a pipe shaft, used to strengthen an object, hold it in place, or attach it to another object.

They are classed as flaws by people such as yourself & like minded Fifa fans, who don,t understand Football ...

Anyway, what makes you believe that PES/WE,s Hit & Hope FK,s and Corners are true ? ...

Heres some advice ... Never judge Football, on a video game .... Judge the video game, on Football.

I,m off to watch the Real Deal ... Milan Vs PSV. L8tr :ewan:

Hmm in real football do you have a timing bar where you have to hot the ball at the right moment. Or it's more if how hard you hit it with abit of spin. And in real life there's no visible arrows. :ewan:

Arrrhh bless ... It,s a video game, mate ... :)
Explain to me, why i,m watching the Milan/PSV match , and all of the passing , player movement & OTB runs, near enough resemble the same, on the Fifa/Ucl games ? ...

I Haven,t noticed any ultra-straight passes , Super quick 180 turns or spasmatic running motions, as yet.

Exactly. Everyday at work I have to handle flanges regularly. A flange can come in many different shapes and sizes and serve an important part in keeping your pipes straight. :jambo:

Yes! Someone who works with flanges, with some valuable information too (and no im not making fun of you).

Well anyways everyone does have his or hers own opinion on everything in life. People might think PES is better than FIFA and FIFA is better than PES but thats all they are, OPINIONS.

A game will never be the same as the real deal.

Like for example people complain how in FIFA we have those little pointers on the ball and net, and yet in PES they have an arrow. (in free kicks and in corner kicks). Now in free kicks lets say. In real life you dont have arrows nor do you have little markers to show where your going to kick on the ball and where you want it to go. But they are both perfect ways on playing the game. In fifa they make it so that the player knows where he's going to kick it and where he wants the ball to go. But from what ive read and seen in videos in PES you guys just have an arrow like how FIFA used to have, you point where you want the ball to go and you kick the ball, and in both games you can determine the amount of power you want. So IMO for someone to say that FIFA's way is unrealistic, its like saying that PES's way is unrealistic too because they are both the exact same thing, just represented a diffrent way. Now in FIFA corner kicks might not be the best way, not kicking but picking one person to control and those set pieces but if they just tweaked it then it would be a better way of representing the game because you have more control (chooseing tactics, formations or whatever)

Well if I didnt explain it the best way im sorry but I tried my best.

as a pes fan i agree with u (Y) if any of this football games don't have power bar for shooting, crossing (FK,CK) how the f*u*c*k are we suppose to controll the freecking game? in the real life when we play, we controll the power of the shot and everything.
it's like playing Onimusha or Metal gear solid with out life bar, u know what i mean?
but i do agree in pes the Fk,Cks are way more realistic, then in any football game at the moment ;) in my opinion

10) Well i,ve sort of answered this in No8) But the Defence does sit back a bit too much in Fifa i,ll agree.
Makes no difference to me, as it still gets ripped apart when i,m attacking. ;)

PES is a more Football strategy game, where in the higher levels you have to spend more time studying your opponent, and making tactical changes to your Team, formation, player AI movement, Marking duties, the weather conditions, and how long the grass is, on the pitch ... :funny:
So about 1/2 hour later, you might actualy get to play a match. ;)
:p

Wow! I go away to Australia and Japan for a couple of weeks and voila, 5 pages added to my original post AND Shaft is back from the banned! Welcome back Shaft! Of course my original post and challenge still hasn't haven't been met. You simply went over each of my points and related how important they are to you. No offense, but I don't give a damn crap if you think you actually need any of the things I listed. This doesn't diminis these flaws one bit. To me, the most telling things you have written in your long response to my original post can be summarized by the two statements I've left above:

FIFA - for those who like to own another team even though that team is sitting back in their own end (ie, finger mashing is more important than actual soccer build up and exploiting weakness)

PES - for those who like to actually formulate a gameplan to win based on situation, opponent and necessity (even though it takes a little longer than 1 minute).

It,s a shame to see that you didn,t bother to get yourself a life, while you were over Australia & Japan.:D

Bottom line... It,s still down to personal preference, and lets face it. Most of the tactical features that are in PES/WE, were in previous Fifa,s anyway ...
Just because you prefer PES for your own foolish & arrogant reasons, is your problem not mine. You put the thread up, and i,ve replied to it, simple as...

Opinions are opinions, and you need to learn to accept them.
Fact is... Fifa will always be more popular than PES, because of the licensing and it,s pick up & play factor.

Last month i even rented PES & UCL out in alternative weekends, and i,ll give PES it,s credit for being a really good, in depth game.
But i reckon that UCL beats it, hands down. The gameplay is much better than Fifa,s, also the commentry & atmosphere are brilliant.

I will also admit that Fifa05 is dissapointing in a lot of areas, but i have to give EA credit for having some level of inteligence, by putting most of it right and improving certain things, in the UCL game.
So if EA decide to do the imaginable, and improve their game 2 years on the trot, and bring their level of gameplay to the same as PES,s and add more tactical options. Then i can honestly see Konami, being the ones with the problem..
Let,s face it, if EA feel threatend about losing sales, they could easily up the level, and develope a game engine to compete, or even better, Konami,s.. And you all know it .. ;)
The funny thing is ... That i reckon that the majority of so called "Die Hard" PES/WE fans, would quickly jump back over the fence, to EA, if it did (or does) happen... :nape:

I don't think that would happen, they'll proably fight hard to find flaws in the game. Then say I give EA and FIFA credit for doing such a great job.

Suppose. I just wished FIFA would digress to the older FIFA's. I mean, FIFA 98 seemed the peak, for me. Then they completely give the game an overhaul and it felt like it fell off the rails in 2000. EA just seem to rely too much on gimmicks.

As for me, I've switched camps ages ago. Konami have tried to emulate the basics of football and slowly evolved it. I find it more enjoyable, too. There's less fancy moves but the passing system pulls the game to a better level.
